bullshite - one side has nothing but manufactured 'narrative' that changes daily according to the political winds of the day - the other side has a fixed set of moral rectitude that they cherish and defend no matter the continued assaults on logic and responsibility by the other.
you decide which side of that is 'conservative' or 'liberal'

I thank you for making the distinction between what MAGA/Trump is and what the rest of us are. MAGA Trump are reactionary rightwing populist. This movement will not sustain itself, most people are not reactionary populist. Conservative and "Liberals" are both liberals in that they believe in the individual and liberty. That will continue, after MAGA/Trump burns out, to be the base of our society.

Both are in favor of increased governmental involvement. Progressives love government programs and meddling in the economy. Republicans are now nationalist populists that do the same with becoming shareholders or recipients of private sector largessse like Intel, Nvidia and US Steel.

Wrong. No two true Conservatives I know hold the same beliefs on every issue. And that is okay because we are generally free thinkers. We believe in civil discussion and respectful disagreement. We are willing to hear others’ opinions, which sometimes changes our own views. Arguments may flare tempers and cause some to overreact, but most Conservatives are as I describe.
I’m not going to bash the Liberals because it’s too easy. Just name one Democrat who doesn’t strictly adhere to the party line on every single issue. That’ll tell you all you need to know on how truly different we are.
Disagreement with one side may result in some harsh words coming your way. Disagreement with the other side may result in your death. Let that sink in.
