Let’s just say she didn’t achieve her position on the basis of merit. The janitor’s apprentice had more of that than her.

I have semi-actively followed it and am in the area so I’ve heard more generally than non-locals…. No idea how the judge will rule. The texts from Wade’s dude who initially claimed attorney-client privilege seem to show he was working with the defense. There is so much smoke common sense suggests both will be tossed from the case but I don’t know that legally there is a smoking gun. I’m not a lawyer.

I will just add that the prior DA lost his job for banging employees and misuse of tax-payer dollars. Fani ran on not banging employees and misusing taxpayer dollars and here she is banging employees and misusing taxpayer dollars.

Most of the money in Fulton is located in Alpharetta, which is why the county looks like a barbell.

Most of the pop is from South Fulton. Fulton, overall, voted almost 73% Biden. So, I dunno.

I think maybe a water main broke in Fulton County, Georgia.

And maybe the Biden 3 am graph image you have seen stems directly from there?

Maybe im just a revisionist historian?

73%? ………

73%…..

Turned the state by eh ..11,779 votes…

I'm talking about the county, not the state. Fulton]

Dekalb, one of the other major counties in Atlanta metro, was 83% Biden. I didn't need to watch the 2008 results, because I heard the street celebrations that night in ATL.

After being trained and performing audits (I am not a CPA,) the amount of shite that happened in Fulton, that everyone sort of shrugged at, were astounding. I would fail the frick out of you on any assurance report (SOC1/2, SOX, PCI DSS, etc.) with the amount of the lack of assurance I could provide based on the evidence presented.

If the judge rules in favor of Fani, I assume the defense could take the issue up to the appellate courts. I would not be surprised if there’s also a motion to dismiss by the defense testing whether the collusion with the White House amounts to prosecutorial misconduct warranting a dismissal. Regardless, I think it is safe to say that this case will not head to trial before November.

Either side will likely appeal whatever the ruling may be. It’ll be so great when the judge is cornered into having to rule against Willis n them and they themselves have to delay the proceedings until after the election with their own appeal. Lulz

what is it with politicians and banging employees and misusing taxpayer dollars? imagine a world where politicians represented their constituents and were full of integrity. it'd be weird, for sure, but probably better. lol

Those closings were almost perfect examples of professional lawyers and political lawyers.

The prosecutor whipping out his slide show and saying “um” a hundred times trying to defend his boss that he blatantly knows was both breaking the laws he is hired to uphold and ethics they swore to do obey.

Doing so in a motion hearing that isn’t just about power but purposely trying to raise barriers to someone being President.

He has facts that prove his boss broke the law and continues to defend her. His entire job is to uphold the law..not his boss.

This just isn’t true. Northeast Atlanta has far more wealth than Alpharetta. Alpharetta used to be a nice place but like a lot of the Atlanta suburbs now resembles the United Nations and is experiencing declining schools increase in crime etc.

I think the Leo Frank case is probably Georgia's highest profile case.

This case would top Leo Frank if Trump was found guilty, but at this point, depended on how things shake out, it will be probably be remembered as an almost ridiculous part of a several pronged attack on Trump.

Also, as far as the Judge goes, one potential consideration is the fact that he may make a political decision based on the fact he has to run for reelection sometime soon (I'm not sure when. I know he was appointed to fill a spot by Kemp). Hopefully he has the integrity to do the right thing, but many people dont.

Over the course of the proceedings (at least those I witnessed), the judge became less forgiving with the prosecution (both their continued foundationless objections and the behaviors of some of their witnesses (as well as their client)).

The defense made a very strong case while the prosecution stumbled and stuttered. The real question, at least to me, isn't for which side the judge rules (because it's extremely apparent Willis was engaged in the relationship with Wade prior to his joining the prosecution and that likely played a large role in his exorbitant pay, of which he spent some on her), but rather if he words his ruling strongly enough to shut down any attempts at an appeal.
