I didn't watch every second of the hearings but watched a good bit.

After closing arguments today, the judge said he'll take up to two weeks to make any judgments on the motion to dismiss the DA and/or the special prosecutor.

My opinion- The judge will say the hiring of an incompetent SP by a crooked DA is actually a good thing for the Trump defense, would they rather have the DA hire a RICO expert? I think nothing will come of this hearing. The judge will let the trial continue. I hope I'm wrong, but I never heard or read anything that would necessarily disqualify the DA or SP from the case.

BamaAtl, a high up medical attorney in Atlanta, has been following the case closely and thinks Willis will survive.

Of course, BamaAtl is far left and biased

It was a blood bath today. There is no way the DAs team is allowed to continue.

I was amazed at how poorly the prosecutor did during closing. His understanding of the case law he was citing was embarrassing and the judge was trying his best not to clown the guy.

Lol. Just because you're black doesn't mean you're COMPLETELY immune to the law

Just don’t see how they could continue on.

This is the highest profile case in GA history trying a former president, 100% due to politics and you allow a DA who lied under oath to remain on board?!

I don’t think so

Am curious if there is an appeal on this one to get it out of the filth of Fulton county ?

I tried to watch it and it was impossible to follow and unbearable. I cannot believe he told the judge to watch the YouTube of the hearing. Ummm. . .

The last defense attorney stole the show. Crisp, to the point. I loved how he made the point that Fani basically drug in the entire prosecution team to assist in the concealment. It was really cogent and good.

ETA - here it is. This dude pinpoints exactly why this case needs to be dismissed, or at the very least Fani Needs to be recused. His point about her being conflicted with her own political ambition was great.

Best closing today

Wade’s Fani is gonna get spanked. She and the Fulton DA’s Office will get shitcanned from the case. It would not have been possible to have a wider gap between soundness of arguments from the two sides. Fani’s soy boy was terrible and sounded like he was in a high school civics class mock trial. Fani and Wade should be getting charged with perjury, but they won’t. Unless of course all the businesses and stores can get their windows boarded up in time before they announce that decision.

I was really leaning towards this judge finding a way to let this all proceed, but that was before the finale from that poor prosecutor. I started out laughing and by the time he was done I felt so bad for him I hated Fani even more for putting him in that impossible position. After what people saw today if that judge doesn't boot Fani then all hell will break loose. I'm sure the MSM will race bait a little but it won't stick, even the Dems know Fani was the wrong street rat to pin their hopes to

Unfortunately, I tend to agree with you. I expect someone on Judge Judy to talk about the difference between where they lay their head, and their home, or their condo. Not an officer of the court. I'd never speak to a DA or a judge the way she did if I was in there for a parking ticket.

Fulton violated "shall issue" for years, and nobody cared. The vast majority of Fulton and Atlanta have their mind made up, and want the result, not the process, which I may hate more than almost anything.

After watching her testimony and eye rolling BS, does anyone believe anyone but a clerk smarter than Willis wrote this, “Conflict arises when a prosecutor has a personal interest or stake in a defendant’s conviction - a charge that no defendant offers any support for beyond fantastical theories and rank speculation,” Willis wrote in a court filing."

(Edited for spelling)

Watching today, during the defendants’ closing arguments, the way the judge was questioning made me take a pause and think he was leaning towards Fani. Then her attorney got up and started presenting whatever the hell that was. And the judge started pushing back on him and I really think he sees no way to rule in favor of Fani/Wade.

By any normal measure, Willis should be disbarred AND face criminal charges. But normality no longer exists.
