So... who the hell doesn't immediately call in this situation? I don't care how old you are- that's a voice-to-voice convo.
Robinson then goes on to detail the entirety of the case: how, when, motive, etc.
This just seems like a scripted way to get the troonmate out of any responsibility. I'm not saying he helped plan it, but I think he absolutely knew

If this exchange is accurate, it pretty well eliminates any big conspiracy ideas.
My brain wants it to be a big conspiracy so I can blame government and politicians and media even more than I already do, but Occam's Razor is still a viable possibility.
Then again, the texts may be a red herring to cover for the mentally ill boyfriend and the handlers.
