This guy is as detailed as he wants to be and then uses being confused as an excuse when he doesn't want to be.

So is this the testimony so far? Comey says Trump calls meeting, in meeting Trump does not order to stop anything, Comey keeps going, but people are using innuendo to suggest he ordered it?

He also said the NYT's multiple sources were wrong.

quote:

Now correct me if I am wrong, which I am always. But, there has been no obstruction, there has been no altering of votes, and there has been no evidence of any wrongdoing?

The left has to IMPEACH TRUMP to find the evidence.

So he said "I agree Flynn is a good guy". Trump could "take that" as an affirmative just like he can take it as affirmative order, right?

Comey told Trump "I'll see what I can do." when responding to Trump.

Come on. People heavily hint at shite all the time without directly saying it. Do you not read people's tone and body language to interpret what they mean?

You are not playing the role of reasonable lib very well.

Anyone with a pulse knows that Trump wasn't happy about the investigation. Why the frick would he be? Either there was obstruction, or there wasn't. I heard Comey say there wasn't.

So kindly stfu with all of this body language shite. Obama bowed before the kind of Saud. Does that suggest he was pledging his allegiance to Saudi Arabia? #bodylanguage

You can say that and also acknowledge that the President saying "I hope you do something" isn't the same as some dude on the street saying it to you.

You put emphasis on the status of one party but not the other. Him saying it to the Director of the FBI, a considerable wielder of power (threat of firing notwithstanding), is not the same as saying it to some underling or sycophant.

Contradicts his previous testimony.

So now, comey is changing it up to Trump gave a "direction" to drop the investigation?
He stated multiple times that he INTERPRETED as a directive. What more do you want? It's a reasonable interpretation given the circumstances, but he's make sure it's known that was his interpretation.

Which makes sense why Trump asked him a second time. It was a follow-up question to a previous encounter.

Comey: I take the president at his word that I was fired because of the Russia investigation

Trump should have remembered the immortal words, "It's better to have him inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in."

Trump watching this testimony like...

How's it looking for MAGA at this point? away from tv

Well, Comey has revealed that Trump didn't specifically ask him to drop Flynn investigation, but that Comey "took it as a direction" based on the conversation.

No way that this would lead to an obstruction of justice charge.

Rubio is trying to screw Trump. He's directing Comey to say things that would be great damaging soundbites to Trump.

It's an order when you have power over someone
