Let’s just say that Chauvin did kill Floyd.
With that assumption and the understanding that George Floyd lived a hard life… at most Chauvin “robbed” him of living maybe 5 years.

We've hashed and rehashed details surrounding this case ad nauseum, and all appearances from the public video it appears Chauvin acted with malice aforethought. And he's shown not even a wisp of remorse for his actions since the outset.

Average sentence for same charge is 12 years in Minneapolis so they basically doubled it for Chauvin when the conviction for murder 2 was bullshite anyway. If I was a cop in Minneapolis I would resign tonight. They will try to jail you for life for doing your job.
