When that group of people saw the vote stealing (voting for people who chose not to vote) swing the election in 2020 they thought their side would never be out of power so it was ok to flagrantly break the law.
They flagrantly broke the law to benefit their political side and now will be charged for the crimes they didn’t bother hiding well.
