Good call.
This would reveal victims personal information and witnesses/subjects who are only implicated but have no criminal culpability.
There’s a reason Bondi walked back her pledge to “release the files.” She can’t under law, and I don’t see how they’ll ever be able to.

Grand Jury testimony does not = Epstein Files. Those are two different things.

I don’t think it’s that simple. Every exhibit or document presented to the GJ may now be off limits. Summaries of GJ testimony in the government’s files may also be off limits. I don’t think you can get around GJ secrecy by just saying what is being released is the “government’s files may.”

The judge notes that the government’s “Epstein files” are not subject to federal rule on disclosing grand jury proceedings. So they can release these investigative files. They did the same for the Russia investigation(s), why can’t they do the same here.
