I’ve been told by several very informed and intelligent people on the PT forum the USD is the world’s reserve currency for the foreseeable future……we’re good.

Money/currency is a confidence game….the question is…..is the confidence in the USD being undermined by the reckless policies of the illegitimate regime and the Federal Reserve?
Stay tuned.

Demographics!!!!
Just fricking stop with that crap. The whole first world has major growth issues. Is India going to become a superpower because they keep breeding like rabbits?
The whole demographics rationalization is tiresome, weak and shortsighted

No. While they do have a large population with a better demographic structure than China, they are severely lacking in natural resources. Unskilled and lower-skilled labor is pretty much all they have. They'll end up being fairly insular in terms of manufacturing and trade (primarily producing for their own market), but they have the opportunity to become the major power between Turkey and China.

Joe gets paid in yuan by the Chinese, so he approves.

Well they have like 50 billion people. They can afford to have 30 billion idiots and still be the IT consulting capital of the world.
