Once again, the US is not a democracy.

If you think it is, then you are a moron. I don't care who says it is.

I hear supposedly intelligent people talking head on TV calling it a democracy all the time. They are wrong and they are morons as well.

Can you tell me what form of government we have here?

Hint: it's not a democracy.

I must agree actually. Democracy works in a high trust society. That is not what we have now.

Funny, the Democrats claim they’re fighting for democracy, but a country like China sees their victory as an end to democracy.

You are the moron here. Everyone knows it is a republic. The point is that we live in a society where every single person over 18 (with a few exceptions) with a pulse is allowed to vote. Why? Just for being them. Nothing that works is universally democratic in nature. Your family, your business, your military, your favorite restaurant, etc. Allowing mass suffrage causes random wild swings based on the particular vicissitudes of the voters at any moment. China rightly looks at us like we are insane: how can the world's superpower just capriciously change direction every 2-4 years? One year we are dropping bombs on a country, killing people. 4 years later we are saying it was a mistake, sorry! We are a bipolar nation high on drugs waving a gun around.

There are too many different kinds of people in the US for this kind of government. It's not stable enough to ever build any kind of foundation.

And before you say that it's worked just fine for 250 years, 1) no it hasn't and 2) have some historical perspective. Mass democracy with universal suffrage as a concept is about 100 years old here. It's been the blink of an eye and it's ridiculous to think this can or even should last forever. We didn't reinvent human nature.

We can’t have a system in which voters can be on the dole. It just won’t work.

And your formula can be used for any characteristic of the government. Example: How would you like it if you’re one of the people the government decides to put in prison?

I agree with China that, at their very core, most people would prefer to live under a Dictatorship.

You shouldn't be allowed to vote if your household takes more than it gives. Period.

I also think that taxes should be paid 2-4 weeks before the vote, and your politicians at every level should be present in district at voting, and before you cast your vote, preferably a week before, you should be given an itemized list of what every single tax dollar from your county was taken from and what it was used for.

Our politicians need to be afraid of us.

If we can limit the ability of the Chinese and the Russians to influence American social media, America can heal much of its political problems. China and Russia are not guaranteed free speech in America to foment conflict among Americans.
