Somehow I doubt that Chicago PD or Cook County Sheriff’s Dept wants to get into a pissing match with the Feds.

A warrant isn't required in that situation. A warrant is only required to arrest an illegal alien when entering a private residence.

I admit, i did not realize how patheticly stupid and/or partisan so many federal judges are.
It's not a good sign for the rule of law.
And without that, it's not a good sign for civilization.

It's a sober awakening to come to the realization that the Judicial Branch of the USA has been conquered almost completely by the American Radical Left.
We knew that they conquered the Educational system and Mass Media a long time ago, but to finally realize just how much of the Judiciary that they own is eye-opening.
Going to be tough very tough to take it back, folks.

If there is an intruder in your house the police don't need a warrant to arrest them.
The intruder will assume room temperature before being collected by the police.

I believe Andrew Jackson notoriously told the courts “You made your decision, try to enforce it.”

Sheriff can arrest federal agents.
Yes, but not for contempt of a Federal Court. The judge is going to have to order U.S. Marshals to arrest ICE agents, which I don't see ending well.

Judge: you can’t arrest illegal immigrants without a warrant, but you can arrest legal agents without a warrant.

He also ordered that federal law enforcement can be arrested if they violate his orders.

Authority and Jurisdiction: City police officers have authority to enforce local and state laws, but federal agents like ICE officers operate under federal jurisdiction. A local officer’s ability to arrest a federal agent for actions taken in their official capacity is limited and rare, as federal agents are generally protected from local interference when acting under federal law.
If a judge issues an order prohibiting ICE from making arrests without a warrant (e.g., a federal court injunction), this order applies to ICE agents. Violating such an order could constitute contempt of court, but enforcement typically falls to federal authorities, such as U.S. Marshals, not local police.

Can get a warrant in minutes. Detain and hold until warrant signed. Judges can now sign on the computer.

Pretty simple. Just wait for them to leave the courthouse and then arrest them as they’re walking out.
No.
This is well beyond that.
We’re edging into territory we haven’t been in since J6/COVID where we could see violence between blue local police and federal authorities.
At a minimum we continue to see the unraveling of the nations institutions on blue/red lines as we escalate towards a kinetic rather than just a cold civil war.

A judge cannot create jurisdiction nor can they invent law. They try all the time, but it’s not enforceable.
Any police officer can arrest anyone while inside their jurisdiction for a violation of a criminal code they were sworn to uphold.
It does not require a sheriffs deputy or police officer. BUT almost no police or sheriff’s deputy carry federal credentials. Those are attached to task forces like DEA or FBI. And their credentials are silver instead of gold. They do not act alone in making arrests and work underneath a federal agent. So 99.9% of police and sheriff are not sworn to uphold federal law and receive no training in the matter.
East Baton Rouge parish doesn’t house federal prisoners awaiting trial they are held in West Baton Rouge.
Warrant arrests are made by the original agency that issued the warrant. An officer outside of that agency makes the “arrest” it’s actually just a hold. The original agency has a limited time to go pick that person up and book them on the warrant or they are released back into the streets and the warrant is activated again.
There are plenty of people walking around the US with warrants from other states, but are outside the extradition range of the Originating Agency. They will be detained while the Original Agency is contacted when it’s learned they will not extradite they are released.

That judge, and many others, need to be skull drug off the bench and arrested every time these hand down one of these rulings for aiding illegals… they know they have absolutely no jurisdiction on this and are purposely trying to interfere with federal agents…
This is no different than that judge that aided that illegal in escaping the courthouse…
