re: Carville: “We’re losing our damn minds”: Unloads on the Democratic Party

Carville still has it? He made his name defeating two of the easiest GOP candidates ever. The elder Bush who managed to throw away the high approval ratings from Desert Storm with his “Read my lips, no new taxes” backslide. And 100 year old Bob Dole who had the personality of a wet mop.
Carville is trotting out the same tired Dem playbook: pander to minorities.

You meant stop being Democrat’s, James? Face it, this is just who your party is now. Perhaps it’s time to find a different peer group for yourself.

He would probably try Mitch The Bitch first.

They can’t. That is, they can’t with the current lineup top to bottom and not flip flop on a ton of what they have said and promised.
And if someone who hasn’t been involved this far busts out of the convention as the nominee... well.. that would be worse than anything else.
They have hated and griped for almost 4 years and have jumped into the election like they have only had a week to prepare. This is absolutely nuts. I never thought 2020 would be this easy.
They would have a shot to correct course and squeak out a surprise if the right was complacent. But they have managed to frick that up too. They have motivated the right to levels above 18.

I'm sure the readers of Vox will dismiss his warnings as "just another straight white male trying to preserve his once dominant place in society"

NO! He said he would vote for the communist if Sanders won the nomination.
He is grumbling but he is still entrenched on the plantation.

Luckily, the dem leadership is blind to the obvious truths he is letting loose with here.
They have hitched their wagon to the cult of shiy objects. The 'youth' of the DEM party are ignorant snobs who think they are smarter than everyone else and willing to shout you down (or worse) if you don't listen to them.
Their only interest is snooping out some new kind of 'victim' to be politicized.
They view Carville as just another old white man - too bad for them.
let em stew in their own piss.

What I want to know is how long it took to transcribe this? They probably had to listen to the rant 20 times from how fast he talks and his enunciation to get something accurately transcribed!

As usual, Carville is wrong. The % of conservatives in this country is more than double that of liberals. I would also be willing to bet that most conservatives, such as myself, are not terribly pleased with those Republican Senators because they are not conservative enough.
I believe this is a Center-Right country. The problem is, the media aggressively manipulates too many people who don't even begin to do enough research to figure things out for themselves.

It didn't need to be fixed. I said for the election.

Trump went to Davis to tell them how he cut out all the ibalust crap. Carville made that crap up as a gotcha he is a Clintonite.

He’s right.
Democrats tell us Trump is an existential threat but can’t stop squabbling over stupid shite.
It’s like the Titanic is sinking but they can’t stop arguing with the band over what song they’re playing

This right here is your Democratic Party. Sorry, but catering the white out of college voters is not going to swing this country.

it is disheartening. Carville made a lot of sense in that interview.

Any utterance of "moderation" by a democrat is a lie.
Thus the lie for the sake of the election.
sounds like we are both correct about slightly different things

Yang is the only of the candidates running a campaign that reflects Carville’s statements, and he’s polling at 2%. I think that pretty clearly summarizes the willingness of the left to listen to people like Carville.
