Classy, nature reaction. Sen Feinstein was in office when I lived in LA. I didn’t agree with her on many things, but she was smart and worked hard to represent her state. And I don’t recall even a whiff of corruption.

Why? One could argue that he has more political power right where he is. Governor of California is a much better springboard to the presidency. Instead of being one of 100 with no real power by himself, he remains a chief executive of the most populous state, with the opportunity every day to implement executive decisions and sign laws into effect. Even though we despise him as an ultra liberal and a baby killing groomer, he has far more power to actually advance his agenda than he would as a Senator.

I’m sure Ed Buck can find him something nice to sit on.

If it is random chance, there are a lot of potential ones. IIRC, Jimmah is in hospice for one.

I won't presume to know her heart, but it's hard to believe someone who so publicly opposed the teachings of Jesus had a relationship with Him. I hope she did.

Given that she was Jewish, I don't think that's very likely.

Sure he could. Why would Kamala go along with that? She wouldn't.

20 years ago, when I was young and dumb, I would have said who cares and good riddance. Now, I would only say what I say about all people who have passed, I hope she was good with God and rest in peace.

Also, we reallllly need term limits. There is NO reason ANYONE should be able to serve 6 terms.

R, D, I ... idc who you are .. we need term limits.

Can’t appoint new committee heads or apportion membership but you CAN stymie things like Ukraine aide that the majority of the GOP doesn’t want, at least until the Dems get back to 50+1.

The Democrats can pass whatever they want that’s able to pass on a majority basis. 50-49 is a majority.

I thought she died years ago and the Dems were just rolling her out there like they did with RBG.

The demorats still are in charge of the senate. McConnell, thune, Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Kennedy, Cornyn, etc. the Demorats have a filibuster proof majority.

Get ready for a theatrical government shutdown, blame Maga republicans who are a threat to democracy, all to be saved by a bipartisan senate continuing resolution bill to be approved by house Demorats and 100 or so republicans, and then a Christmas omnibus bill.

So eleventy gazillion for Ukraine. More billions to Bidens failed fast trains & railroads. Zillions for wind farming and solar panels.

A trillion or 2 to stop cows from farting.

Oh and millions for infrastructure when anyone can drive in Mahoning County, Ohio and fall into a pothole on an interstate. With shithole airports.

Can't forget 50 billion to pay the union off to endorse the democrat.

Zillions to the FBI to arrest people that dare to fly an American flag, or put a Trump sign in their yards.

She served a day as president…Mission Accomplished.

She has no shot at EVER winning.

As Senator, she can now frick the country over until she too drops dead at 90.

This is not a radical prediction.

This is the face of people governing us. If doesn't make you want term and age limits, then nothing will.

Dude, they easily have 6-8 "Republicans" under their control.

What this does is gives the House additional power because it can put Senate Republicans to the test to show who they are.
