If transgenderism had a true biological cause (like albinism or dwarfism) the rate of occurrence would not significantly increase over one generation.
You expect similar percentages of albinos and dwarfs in the population today as we had 60 years ago. Likewise, you'd expect the same percentages of transgenders in the population today as we had 60 years ago.
To go from having no transgenders in the entire school, to having 3 in every class - is telling.
It is a social / psychological issue where troubled kids learn they can get special attention. Probably not a lot different than some depressed, outcast kids became "goths" in the 80s. Except this is more dangerous because the hormones they take can have lasting effects. 40%+ of transgenders attempt suicide, which should highlight the mental illness factor we are dealing with.

The preliminary conclusions intimated in that comment are absolutely spot on re: transgenderism in teens and young adults, but it will be completely ignored and actively silenced, as was the case with Brown.
These people do not need to be encouraged and aided in mutilating their bodies and forever altering themselves. They need to be counseled. I fear that in a decade or so there is going to be a drastic increase in transgender suicide rates due to individuals who "transitioned" as a phase and then deeply regret the irreversible error.

I've always found it interesting how psychology believes every single human behavior is due to some combination of nature vs nurture, in other words a combination of biology and how our environment affects us.
With the exception of homosexuality and transgendersim which is 100% biology. And this is not up for discussion.

I called this shite a long long time ago.
Poor white kids. Not being sarcastic, white youth are fricked.
They have re-written history. What I learned 20 years ago is NOT what they learn now.
White people are not celebrated for the AMAZING things they have done in this world. Instead they are slaughtered.
In school, in the media, and especially in all the teenie booper shite - facebook, tweeter, 17 magazine.... etc.
So what happens? Normal white kids either hate themselves, or their peers do. What does this lead to? How can these young white people be accepted?????
By becoming a freak. Pretending to be a trans or gay moves you from the EVIL WHITE MAN, to a victim. A very special class, special special special.
IMO -- the VAST MAJORITY of these new "trans" whiteys.... are just trying to not be attacked for their skin color.

It's up to parents to put into context the real cases of it. And if the kids want to be supportive of their friend, put support into more positive channels than "I'm Spartacus."
There are a lot of doctors and parents that need to answer for pushing confused kids that don't have it into a social spotlight and political fight. We know that. But a lot of people go through years of therapy and tests well into adulthood before making personal decisions on going forward with transistion.
Remember this is only a cause because right after gay marriage made it both sides dug up an issue that's always been there as not an issue. It's political football the trannies didn't ask for but are in now. Otherwise it used to be a once a year or so pull from the crank pile in the 24/7 news cycle of the past couple decades.

Yes, they reject the Judeo-Christian worldview... What is the Christian to do then... stand up and proclaim loudly the sanctity of their stance?
The rebirth of Judeo-Christian values will not happen through political action. It will only happen through Christ's redemptive power. The flip side of our societies abandonment of Judeo-Christian values, is that Christians in many communities are actually starting to look different from everyone else. I see so many in my extended family and community that have had their lives dominated by addiction and loss with no real answer for their hurt. We have Good News to share Foo Man... not on account of our own goodness!
