They make it seem like this is was a grand conspiracy of a bunch of white kids to lure one black kid 45 minutes out into the gulf, kill him, and leave his body

Some absolutely disgusting wishcasting and theorizing by people who don’t know anything

... they never stopped to think about the idea that those kids in the photos might be absolutely devastated over the loss of their friend.

Do you not remember Eddie Jordan? Because I do.
I was working in the "criminal justice" system when Leon took over that shitshow.

And I've never had a problem with Jason, but if you don't remember him using his position to cut Leon's budget before running for Leon's seat, then you weren't paying attention.
WTF are you talking about?
At least she's trying to do something to better the City.

What did he do wrong?
Not trying to argue.... was he not supposed to flip that switch?
Did he not flip it properly?
Genuinely interested.

Nah, his family doesn't think like that.
Without reading through all of the thread, has anyone mentioned crash worthiness?

I'd imagine a Chinese-made car, sold in non-U.S. markets, is significantly cheaper than a vehicle that meets NHTSA standards for the U.S. market.
It costs more to make a safer car... simple as that.

The local news ran a story the other night about the case that still has not been resolved. It seemed like a link to the WDSU story would be worth posting, but the thread is locked.

Has anyone flown out of New Orleans this morning?
How bad are the lines?

Why don’t you want your kids to go to your Alma mater?

... because the lack of standardized testing has contributed to the declining standards overall.

Man, I used to be on that forum. It had some good information.
Man, I feel like this one has been a shell of its former self for a while,,,, but it's still odd to hear about two well-known firms closing in such a short amount of time.
And not a merger, not "being acquired" by another firm, just closing.

Damn! I had no idea it would be that heavy.

Is running it under the road an option?

Just put the vehicle in neutral.

Terrible advice.
Flat towing is vehicle-specific.
Some need the T-case in Neutral while the transmission remains in gear.
Man, the refs have been waaay more involved in this game than they should be.
The one that bothered me was when he was sleeping with the surgeon's wife, towards the end of the show's run.

At one point, the surgeon straps on cross country ski gear to get to the hospital during a blizzard, while Don watches him leave so he can go back upstairs and bang the guy's wife.

That ain't right.
