Nah man. The EU is closer to collapse than you think. All of the Slavic nations they invited are refusing the immigration standards west Europe has set. This is causing real strife over there and Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia all see it wasn't worth it.

Unemployment in the UK just hit its highest rate since Covid, and young adults having to live with their parents is unfortunately a common theme among Western nations whose policies have skyrocketed the cost of living.
This 20 year old, and countless others like him, recognize how much the government has fricked their generation, and his parents are partially to blame. In a free nation, he should be able to call that out, regardless of where he lives.

I'm not against a young man living with his parents if he's helping pay bills and saving toward his own goals, but when he said he was a commentator?
Putting out tik-tok msgs isn't gonna get my 20 yr old kid a pass to live rent free.
His dad seems fed up. His mom seems looney. He should leave, or be throw out.
That's about all I got from it.

England is cucked and I rarely use that term. It's just insane how knee-jerk their sensitivities are to anything like this. Two (admittedly generalized) things I note from time spent in the UK and relationships with the English:
1) The shame and embarrassment about...everything...is deeply engrained at this point. It's like the dark version of the Canadian meme about apologizing for everything.
2) Everything lacks depth. I think this is a continental thing too as religion is abandoned (well, Christianity at least) and history/other sources of meaning makes them uncomfortable, but everything is so "surface" for lack of a better term. No depth of pride in place, land, culture, etc. Be it weddings, funerals, sports, family life - all are diminished. Nothing is as vibrant or rich as it was. For a country that originated so much of Western culture, to watch it become so thin and cliche is difficult.
