Take it a step further. Bragg wants to possibly sentence in 2029.

He's a fricking joke

I was assured the left would accept the results of the election.

What does that have to do with litigating legal issues in a state court criminal matter?

The left truly believes voters are stupid and have no idea what is good for them (us). Even when they win, they think they are far superior.

frick them.

Merchan adjourned the sentencing hearing until further notice. Of course the prosecution still wants to seek criminal sentencing.

Fun fact! Donald J. Trump is not ackshually a "convicted felon" until sentencing and court proceedings have been finalized.

He can legally sue every news entity and talking head that has stood and repeated this false narrative time and time again. Murderin' Joe and Mika, Cooper, Radditz, Maddow, Baier, Wallace, Lemon, Cuomo, Cavuto, Reid, and their employers, among hundreds more.

They know it, and that's why they're REALLY pushing to finalize this thing.

Democrat leaders are also moving to charge him with battery for what he did to Kamala on election day.

Is he dumb enough to not know how Presidential pardon power works?

Last day of office, Trump pardons himself and it’s over.

You're certain brand loyal.

You didn't answer the question, though.

This has literally nothing to do with "accepting the results of the election"

There was impact on federal prosecutions due to pre-existing DOJ policy, but this is a state court matter. The constitutional concerns are completely different.

I'm sure you can articulate why, and you won't just rely on base level ad hom attacks to hide yourself from another silly comment. Right? I mean CERTAINLY you're going to cope harder and retreat to "the system is all corrupt" generalities, right?

There is no established (or even alleged, mind you) immunity for a person elected as President for crimes alleged to have occurred outside of their time as President.

Yes they'd have to commit a crime.

Why is this surprising? He was found guilty by a jury of his peers. He will be sentenced. He has the right to appeal

That’s how our system works. The election doesn’t change that

I really hope the USSC does something extreme to these people. I love and cherish the Constitution. But these terrorists have ripped it to shreds, so i'm in by all (nonviolent of course) means necessary mode with the lawfare atrocities.
