He didn't remember the right dates, the premises of the meetings, or specific details asked of him from pointed questions derived from things the FBI already knew.

The horror! Flynn didn't remember details about a perfectly routine phone conversation that was never illegal in the first place.

And that's really the bigger question, here. Why was the FBI even investigating him in the first place? What crime did he commit? The FBI investigates crimes, remember? The last time I checked their job description didn't consist of investigating people Obama doesn't like.

Oh, but I know what you're going to say: Muh Logan Act! Are you really going to pretend that anyone cares about the fricking Logan Act which was passed in 1799 and not even prosecuted ONCE in history? If you really care about it, then Jimmy Carter needs to be in jail since he has repeatedly negotiated with foreign governments after he left office. Hell, Bill Clinton too. Clinton has been all over the world talking policy (and taking money) since he left office as have thousands of other politicians.

Lock them up!

According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the contents of the memo are so “explosive,” that it could end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. Additionally, the memo’s release could lead to the prosecution of top FBI and Justice Department officials, says Carter.
.
Probably the stupidest thing you will read all week.

The memo is not evidence of anything. It is Nunes' unverified version of what he thinks the documents show.

For Nunes to say the dossier was used to get the warrant, by and in itself means nothing. What part of the dossier was used, and were there proper supporting affidavits for the portions used?

If there were, there would be nothing improper about using it as part of the information to be used to apply for the warrant.

"This memo is nothing!! It's not evidence of anything!!!! shite is only evidence if a lib outlet quotes an anonymous source. "

That's basically what libs are saying, if they ate up anti trump anonymous sources over the last year, and try to dismiss the memo.

I won't do you the courtesy of a blow-by-blow, because I know what you are. But I'll take the broad strokes. Flynn remembered just fine the things no one gave a shite about. He lied about just the questions they singled out--the ones they figured he had a motive to lie about based upon data they'd already collected. Yeah. They wanted to leverage him, so they set his arse up. Cops do that. Sorry you didn't know.

And he was being investigated because he's a criminal. That's what they do to criminals when criminals frick up and leave breadcrumbs.

Clinton and Carter and Nixon and Kissinger and Bush and other dignitaries conducted at-large diplomacy practically under the auspices of the federal government and in the presence of other federal officers. That has nothing to do with what Flynn was about.

Hey I worked for the man. I respect his service and he was one hell of an officer at one point. I don't have anything personally bad to say about him. But he's, at least, a liar and a convicted felon. And God knows what else.

Except for the fact it was paid “oppo research” and multiple Obama admin officials are on record saying it wasn’t used to get the FISA warrant.

So why lie?

That's a ridiculous statement. If Russia's goal is to manipulate the election in order to destabilize the Wests greatest superpower and Russia's key geopolitical threat, why in the frick would you trust paid for Intel from government thugs meant to be used as campaign smear?

The legacy media wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 foot pole and they hate Trump with a purple passion. You expect us to believe that a straight, uncorrupted fbi swallows this bs, and launches a campaign spying operation based on it?

Understand where you're coming from. Had he not been fired by Trump for intentionally misleading VP Pence, I might be supportive of him, still. Many a 'good man' has had momentary lapses cost them dearly, and many times the punishment doesn't fit the crime, but that's the rules we all play under. I'd love to share a drink or a meal with him and thank him for his service and tell him that I respect his sacrifices. He shouldn't be judged in history by one small misstep.

And?

Unless you can prove a corrupt conspiracy and agreement to violate the law for some kind of gain whether it be illegal or professional like an election result, it doesn't matter at all.

For a lot of hate the beltway elite has for Flynn, they sure are leaving a lot out there if they're just simply charging him with false statements.

An american patriot that made a significant contribution to the american story by bringing us the coup de grace to the corrupt Clinton Machine and a President that's shaping up to be one of the most consequential conservative Presidents in American History.

Oh and outing the dirty and corrupt bullshite the CIA was up to in the mideast is a nice plus as well.

Your hatred of the man is palpable, noted and worthless as well.
