On the outside, at a glance, it looks like it would be red, but in reality we’d be taking on another Minnesota.

If we just take Alberta, BC and the Yukon I don't think it'll effect much. If we took all of canada the dems would win all national elections.

Interesting story, put who do they represent?

Is it some broad-based movement, or are they basically the town council from Outer Moose Balls?

I wouldn’t hold my breath…
But another state that reliably votes Democrat would be interesting. Trust me, Alberta citizens are not and never would be MAzGA…

You're a dumb arse then. Alberta is full of baws. They're conservative as frick there. Just like Montana and Idaho. Plus they have tons of oil.

Yes, we do.

Alberta is much like Texas, has lots of oil and gas reserves.

Those middle provinces are a lot more conservative than Quebec and Ontario.

BC would be among the bluest of the blue states. The other two would be fairly purple.

This delegation is only representative of Alberta not all of Canada. They hate the idiots in east Canada. They want to leave Canada and become a state. They have the majority of Canada’s oil. They are also super conservative unlike the rest of Canada.

This. Give us Alberta and leave the rest of Canada to bleed out.

ETA: it also includes Banff, so it makes the US more beautiful.

Alberta is very conservative. A lot of ranchers and farmers who just want to be left alone. They don't like Canada politics!

It’s still all fantasy, but you take them and don’t look back.

Land is the one thing they don’t make any more of. And when you have a chance to grab it, you grab it. Especially if you don’t have to pay for it in blood.

Same thing for Greenland. If you have to pay for it, fine. Pay for it. But you go get it.
