In a criminal trial? Well I guess the judge has been making it up as it went along, so this shouldn’t be surprising.

I also like how the judge is like: Trump must be here, no excuses, no continuance, and no recess. Also, a juror has a dentist appointment plus we have a 4 day weekend for the holiday so let’s all have off.

Doesn’t matter. Now…cite the felony…I mean, you read the indictment, right?

Taxes don’t matter much to you, huh? Guess you’re one of the 47 percent.

The prosecution didn't just fail to prove he committed a crime. They failed to accuse him of committing a crime.

Never heard of a jury being dismissed for a week.

Gotta give time for media and “others” to pressure them into a guilty verdict

I'd like to hear this as well. I hope he doesn't chicken out and decline to speak in his own defense.

Do you really think Trump would have a problem testifying in his own defense?

But moreover, why do you think you are entitled to know the Truth as it relates to this issue?

I always find it funny that one of the chief complaints from the left is that Trump is a slave to his own ego, yet they all get so butthurt when Trump defers to wisdom instead of indulging his pride.

I expect a guilty verdict, but... this has been such a blatant shite show that it's reasonable at least one juror has some level of decency and holds out.

the indictment clearly "tells him" what he is charged with, you should read it.

Smh.... Are you that simple? Or just being dishonest?

What's the further crime that allegedly makes this misdemeanor, which had past the statue of limitation, a felony?

That dude is gone. He has no clue what is in the indictment or even what the case is about. He just doesn’t like Trump, so he likes the prosecution. He also doesn’t pay taxes. Typical useful idiot.

again, his right just like every other criminal defendant. but what changed his mind about "ready & willing to tell the truth?" or was all that just bullshite?

My guess is that going into this he thought he'd have a judge on the case who wasn't going to squash any narrative to help Trump. But this judge, him going on the stand would be a horrendous idea. If the judge gets bent out of shape because someone rolled his eyes, imagine how far up Trump's arse he'd be if Trump took the stand

Every Private eye in New York State will be watching the jurors through their windows, mail slots, tv monitoring, cell phone usage, garage door openers etc. etc.etc. Representing the dick prosecutors, defence, state ag, fbi, cia, judge, appellate ct., Jurors will not be able to fart without 18 people smelling. Don't doubt that false allegations of jury misconduct, taking bribes are not in place.

You bet your arse that he wants jury instruction that is tight because inevitably the defense if it loses is going to go for that first and just about every judge I've ever dealt with...and I've dealt with NYC judges, HATES when an appeal is based on that. That's the one thing they don't want coming back at them.

Individual rulings in the course of a trial, no so much.

yes i read it but i didnt right it, nor was i personally involved with the decision to seek the indictment, nor was i on the grand jury who issued the indictment. NYAG charges the defendant with multiple counts of violating penal law 175.10, which is a misdemeanor. they have elected to elevate those charges to felonies via an alleged conspiracy to illegally influence the 2016 election thru campaign finance fraud. so yes, trump has been told what he's accused of

not really, i have managed to protect myself just fine via legal means. i pay only what i am required to pay and otherwise cannot avoid

by the way, if donald had any sense whatsoever, he'd had have offered to plead down this case to the misdemeanors, take the fines and move on, thus putting the ball back in the court of the AG. any judge would have gladly accepted the plea, and any competent AG would have as well. this would have been a big nothingburger handled quickly and cleanly. this never should have gone to trial...only donald made that happen
