I have yet to see any one of the posters that claim the charges are clear cite the underlying crime that allowed the felony charge. Can anyone do it?

And they should be. The jailing of a political opponent when no law has been proven to be broken following a trial where clear constitutional and evidentiary rules were ignored should cause legendary melts from everyone.

You're arguing with a guy who's more concerned about "the melts" on this board than he is with a rigged trial of a former President and the leading opposition candidate for President. When you realize that American culture and government are toilet bowls built on vapid and shallow lies, you begin to not be surprised by anything.

Well everyone knows he has the right to not testify but he repeatedly said he would.

There is nothing to defend so why would he take the stand? There is no crime and its been a law-fare show trial. Its being done solely to keep him occupied and made to look bad in public light. But its actually turned many blacks to his side as they see him being railroaded and some can relate.
It also cost money to defend yourself and its jist another tacric to bleed him via 1,000 cuts.
These things tend to backfire. Once Pubs get control and now all the sudden Obama and Clinton can be brought on charges. The radical left made a big mistake by going after a POTUS via law fare. That was pretty sacred ground and kept us from being a banana republic. But the 2020 steal and now law fare on a POTUS means all bets are off going forward.

The judge's daughter has raised almost $100 million from this trial for clients of her business. The judge's wife worked with Letitia James, who literally campaigned on "getting Trump". One of the state's primary witnesses is a whore who claims she speaks with demons. The other is a convicted felon who admitted to lying about the call that allegedly forms the basis of this crime and to stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the man on trial.
