Wow, we should all be thanking Trump a great deal for eliminating illegal competition for jobs with his ICE Gestapo since the demand is obviously going up!

Obviously we don’t want UE to rise but it’s likely the only thing to move the fed rate.

The obsession over an overnight lending rate that only the largest banks have to is unbelievable. You realize the ten year dropping means less growth, right?

Well, one thing is 100% certain. This is Trump's economy. He owns the good and he owns the bad.

Well, this is not good news. Certainly not the news I was hoping for.

Vegas being in decline doesnt have anything to do with the economy really.

Vegas has a lot of issues. Post COVID societal changes (people drink / go out less), and competition has increased big time.

Online gambling is legal in most states, more (and nicer) casinos being built in the country, and foreign tourists have changed. Australia has become a popular spot for Asian bettors, China has clamped down on people "showboating" wealth, and KYC has gotten stricter.

Vegas is pretty outdated as a concept. There just isnt enough centralized demand to have that many big casinos in the same spot anymore.

Does t matter who’s in charge, I haven’t believed these numbers my entire adult life.. they are inherently bias regardless of who’s in charge

Could be a number of factors. Been hearing for a year that the new Resorts World is tanking and The Fontanbleu has been struggling.

Also, why would you think Vegas would be protected if the likes of Florida have seen a decrease in international travelers over the past 6 months

IMO, Vegas has been on a downward trajectory since Covid and all of the trash frequenting it due to the dirt cheap flights and the likes.

Bad jobs report. Unemployment rising and you support mass immigration.

It's worth noting digging into the numbers that government and "public" jobs are taking big hits.

Private jobs were only up 3k in June. Idk if I’d trust the 83k they’re showing for July.

Im good with this. Tourism makes up a very small chunk of the US economy. Less tourists = less people overstaying their visas and having anchor babies.

I would like to see POTUS introduce a massive trades program. To build all of these data centers he has gotten trillions in commitments for is going to require a lot more electricians, HVAC, engineers and so on than we have in the workforce. He should appoint Mike Rowe to head it.
