Our seed oil and processed food problems aren't a matter of left vs right. Big food and big pharma finance almost all nutrition studies and those industries support both political parties.
All of our media has been scare mongering about saturated fat and cholesterol for many decades. Big food and big pharma spend heavily on ads.
Doctors who advocate for healthy diets do so at their peril. Big food and big pharma have been caught trying to destroy the careers of doctors who use low carb diets to cure obesity, stage 2 diabetes and heart disease. Two examples are linked below.
