It's incredible how many in here believe this is actually part of some climate plan. Best I can tell this "90% reduction" is just a what-if scenario from some study by UM and Tulane a while back. And these dipshits are ready to go grill out on the white house lawn.

If I woke up tomorrow to learn DC was a pile of nuclear ash, I'd have a smile in my face for a year.

Is it really though? I mean, in a couple weeks span the Democrats have made overt moves to set into action efforts to pack SCOTUS and to decree statehood upon D.C. Would the proposal of actions described as "Biden's Climate Plan" hereinabove really be that out of line with the rest of their lunacy?

Yes.

That is a constitutional role of congress, and there is precedent, correct?

and to decree statehood upon D.C.
I don't really care either way, but I doubt it happens. In either case, so what?

Yes, this supposed red meat quota is just ridiculous. But I know that you have been primed for years by the twisting of the truth and outright lies that you guys will believe just about anything as long as it makes democrats look stupid.

They can pound sand. Come to my door and they can get off my property. It isn't against the law to march up there and have a cookout. It isn't against the law to flip off Biden while we are at it.

Hell they can belly up and enjoy a burger and some sausage if they ask nice enough. Join the softball game.

Sounds more like a suggestion than a requirement. Any attempts to legislate this idiocy into reality will be quickly shut down.

What does cutting red meat do.. Are they seriously planning on cutting the number of cows on the planet?

While we could surely get by with fewer cows, there are no plans to set some sort of red meat quota. This fake news looks to be a combination of comments by Harris about adjusting dietary guidelines (the ol' food pyramid) combined with an obviously far-fetched what-if scenario from a university study, passed off as part of a climate plan.

Factory food is killing people. Anyone who pays a premium for phony meat is making a big mistake.

You are dead wrong. Check out these passages from the EAT plan proposed by Harvard University's Walter Willetts in the Lancet.

quote:

The scale of change to the food system is unlikely to be successful if left to the individual or to the whim of consumer choice...

By contrast, hard policy interventions including laws, fiscal measures, subsidies and penalties, trade reconfiguration, and other economic and structural measures...
