They won’t form their own league Because they don’t want to compete against other men.

Guess my point was you don't need to be religious to oppose dudes participating in female sports

You don't have to be a theist to oppose dudes participating in female sports. If you have values that you think should govern how people behave, you're religious in a sense. One of the definitions is: : a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith.

I'm surprised no one told her to grow a pair.

Are a man's physical advantages really relevant to surfing? If there's going to be a female division then it should certainly be restricted to actual females but I'm not sure the division is relevant in this case. (I've only tried to surf a couple of times so I could be wrong but it seems to be a matter of balance more than strength.)

If not now then when. If they are allowed to continually move the goal posts then you will lose everything.

Uh yeah. Go look at the top male surfers then the top female. Watch how hard a guy carves into a wave va a female. The power difference is profound. There is also a reason why females don’t really do a ton of big wave surfing. It’s too physically taxing.

I don't really know anything about surfing but I imagine it'd be kinda like comparing men's and women's bullriding. Strength, coordination, etc

Go watch a men’s heat tomorrow at Pipeline versus Carissa Moore who is the most dominant women’s surfer ever. Not to mention when the surf gets too big they’ll call off the women at waves of consequence. The men are doing airs 5-6 feet above the lip on performance waves. Women are progressing fast but they absolutely can’t hang at the professional level. They are surfing Teahupo’o this year so that should be interesting. But there’s only a few of them that have the nerves to drop in when it’s 12+ feet.

The question is who really cares if men in skirts dominate women's sports??? Has anyone ever watched women's sports? It ain't exactly compelling. If there are a bunch of men playing in the WNBA it might actually be worth watching...as it is it ain't. The same is true of softball, tennis, golf....who cares and who watches????

I know nothing at all about surfing because I am an adult first and foremost and secondly I have a life BUT I suspect being "one of" if not THE best women surfers in the world would place a person somewhere in the neighborhood of maybe the 50,000 best surfer in the world all genders included. WHo really cares about the 50,000 best person doing anything????

If you have to compete against a rigidly defined demographic in anything, sport, career etc. you ain't deserving of any consideration, period. Women can't compete against men in activities that require athleticism, generally speaking. Stiff competition makes competitors tougher....getting outsurfed by a dude in a bikini could be a positive thing but instead this person has decided to just quit because, after all, she has quitting in her blood apparently.

I don't think so. She has a lot of support from what I saw and I think the tide is turning on trans in sports. The fact men are now winning beauty pageants too is too much. Women are tired of it and parents are mad about seeing their young kids lose to men. I expect a lot more fighting back this year and beyond.

Where are "young kids" losing to men??? In what sport or activity are kids losing to men???

Women are tired of what??? Not winning in the special Olympics that is women's sports??? Who cares??? What sport played by women is compelling compared to the men's version??? Outside of the sex appeal that may exist there is no attraction to women's sports outside of family and close friends. Women who played sports will pretend to be interested in the women playing that sport professionally or in college but crowd size tells the true story...no one cares.

She should push back on this. I hope she can keep the haters at arm’s length and shoulder this responsibility for real women everywhere.

That said…. Why can’t the tranny’s just form their own league???

Why do they have a league at all??? Its all about selling crap to folks interested in surfing and there is a men's league where the best surfers compete. The best woman surfer who ever lived would probably rank about 50,000 all time against all surfers. the best trans surfer may rank lower than that....still a heaping pile between them and the best. Why would anyone watch the special olympics if their kid or someone they cared about wasn't competing? It would be WEIRED to watch youth soccer unless your kid was playing....because it is horrible from a soccer perspective just like women's sports are compared to the male version. No one cares.
