I think “Don’t yell about trans people at our bar staff because we have bud lights” is a normal stance. But the conservative Karen’s are on a roll.

Except that isn’t what they said, is it? I’ll help you out, this is the original message that people are pissed about:

“… we ask that you keep your opinions to yourself. Should you feel the need to discuss this matter in public you will be asked to leave.”

This bar thought it was a good idea to tell their PAYING CUSTOMERS to keep their opinions to themselves and not discuss certain topics in public.

It doesn’t say “don’t yell at our bar staff about Bud Light” it says not to discuss the topic at all. So customers could be having a conversation about it between themselves and the bar would ask them to leave.

How many other topics are not allowed to be discussed in bars? Why is this one special? I’m intolerant of pedophiles, and according to this bar if I’m “intolerant of humans of ANY kind” and I don’t keep that opinion to myself, I’ll be asked to leave their establishment.

Customers don’t like being told to STFU and just give us your money, so they went elsewhere. Now the bar can rely on the group they wanted to protect to keep their doors open.

Remember that inviting Sammy Tiger to your crawfish boil means he'll be trying to lure the neighborhood kids into the back shed...

It's amazing Sammy is playing dumb about this.

Amature-level gas lighting... Anyone here can pull up dozens of instances of progressive customers hounding a business to drop a certain product, but when conservatives do it suddenly Sammy here understands why it's wrong.

I don't want to live in a society like this, but if the progressives make this socially acceptable, fine. Mutually assured destruction it is...

Exactly.

Remember the MyPillow boycotts?

Less than a year ago liberals were cheering as each new retailer stopped carrying the pillows. Now boycotts are a problem?

F-ck you! Wife drives a subaru, and will never drink bud light again.

She also has a pro life sticker and a Catholic school. Sticker on the back, so that really throws people for a loop!

If they had merely kept their mouths shut, a tried and true solution to many a problem.

After telling any potentially vocal patrons who disagree with Bud Light making a trans woman one of its spokespeople to get lost, an Indiana bar released yet another statement backtracking its swift dismissal of its patrons.

The latest statement is one of three that The Fairfax Bar & Grill in Bloomington, Indiana has posted in the past couple weeks, indicating that they are desperate to find the right messaging on the subject since they’ve been bleeding clientele.

Where the first public statement denounced those participating in the backlash, the subsequent messages opted for an increasingly softer stance, with the last one admitting the establishment values patrons of all viewpoints and will draw the line at uncivil behavior in the restaurant.

I can't make sense of who or whom or what or whatever is supporting anyone or anything here. I don't think I have ever read something more confusing on the Fox News site.

THAT trans is insulting to women and just mocking them. People really don’t understand how terrible Mulvaney is as a person unless they’ve been subjected to his ranting.

Just shows you how dumb the average lib is. They have no idea they are being trolled.

Really?

Bar owner says any patron expressing perceived negativity regarding a dude dressed in womanface adorning Bud Lite cans will be asked to leave. The owner made a big enough to-do about it that he hemorrhaged customers. Now he's changed his tune, saying, "Hey y'all, please come back. I'll let you talk negatively regarding the dude dressed in womanface adorning Bud Lite cans. Just keep it respectful."

Odds are the bar won't last a year under current ownership, because the owner imagined injecting his business into controversial politics was a brilliant move.

Does that clear up your confusion?

It is a LOT fricking easier to keep the old clients than get new ones in almost any industry.

Service industry especially. We were all told many times (back in my restaurant days) that 1 unhappy customer tells 10 people how bad it was, while 10 happy customers collectively tell one person how great it was.

its only the beginning. Bud Light will forever be branded as a Tranny beer

I saw this last weekend, don’t get caught drinking it in public. Never seen grown men being made fun of, like this, lol. Guy was drinking it, and was accused of drinking “Tranny beer”, boy was there some spin, he said he was just drinking it up, because it was old and he had to get rid of it, the excuses we’re flying..

Yet they are intolerant of others opinions and their refusal to participate and someone else's mental issues of labeling themselves something they are not...

So you didn't learn a lesson by what was happening to Bud Light by losing billions by insulting their client base...you deserve what you get...

When a bar feels the need to go to social media and tell its patrons to play nice or get out… Maybe that’s not a good sign. Probably should hand over management to somebody who can run a business and not lecture to its customers.

BBB was already in trouble and they thought that getting in the middle of a culture war would save their asses.

Yeah, not so much.
