Whoever wins the R primary will unseat Jones.

I just want to see Jeff Sessions run again so he can see what conservatives really think of him now after he abandoned President Donald Trump and left him out to dry against a witch hunt rebellion in the Justice Department he was trusted with managing.

He would win in a landslide. Nearly won the Governors race a few years ago.

Im still pulling for Mo Brooks.

I hope Sessions does not run.

Alabama tends to vote for incumbents.

Indeed.

But losing that senate seat did enormous damage to Brett kavanaugh's chances of being confirmed and having an orderly confirmation process. Gave way too much power to Jeff Flake, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.

And Flake used that power in refusing to vote for a batch of judges in the lame duck to force a vote for a mueller protection bill. That never happened and nominations lapsed and had to be renominated in the new congress.

That's why President Trump prioritized expanding the GOP senate majority over keeping the house. He really barnstormed in the home stretch for Marsha Blackburn, Rick Scott, Mike Braun, Matt Rosendale, and Martha McSally.

Great if local talk show host Leeland Whaley can avoid using his platform to not grind a personal ax the way he did against Moore. That bullshite write in stunt was mostly his doing, and helped get Jones elected

Jones is dead man walking. he has 0% chance. Alabama will not be tricked again with false stores like what happened with Moore.

I would rather have Brooks but will gladly take Byrne.

At this point I think the local fricking dog catcher could run against Jones and win.

The Gump learned their lesson.
