Bad News RePuBe Boomers:Younger Conservatives Are Increasingly Skeptical of Israel First.

Israel Paying US Social Media Influencers $7,000 Per Post As Right-Wing Support Craters…
Following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting in New York on Friday with a group of pro-Israel influencers, we learn that Israel is likely paying them a whopping $7,000 per pro-Israel social-media post in a desperate drive to bolster plummeting support of Israel among America's young conservatives.
That's the conclusion of Responsible Statecraft's Nick Cleveland-Stout, based on analysis of a disclosure filed with the US Department of Justice as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). While pro-Israel lobbying heavyweight AIPAC is notoriously exempt from FARA registration, the social media operation comes under the transparency law's provisions because Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is paying for it.
The Israeli social media push comes amid cratering support for Israel among Americans. The deterioration is strongest among Republicans who have long represented the cornerstone of Israel’s backing in the United States. That trend is even more pronounced among younger Republicans…

Be interesting to know who is cashing those checks?

Two things I have never obsessed over in my life, Israel, or the Palestinians, whoever they really are.

Not surprising. There has been a significant increase in pro-Hamas/pro-terrorism propaganda in this country in the last couple of years. The Jew-hating bigotry and support for inbred, sub-70-IQ terrorists (even on this forum) is growing. The terrorist propagandists have been very successful.

I don’t know which is worse: Israel Firsters or Hamas Bros.
How about neither?
Put me down on this poll question as “Why the hell is the United States tasked with picking winners and losers in these ancient sectarian rivalries?”

One of the biggest con jobs of all time is convincing Americans that if you criticize Israel you are anti Semitic. A majority of Jews dont approve of Israel currently.

You know, it's possible to dislike them both.

Wait until they learn the leaders of Hamas are billionaires

I am gen x. I do not hate Jews by no means and am very aware of their significance in the good book. I am also aware of their significance/control of our nation. It is a problem.

What a sad and sorry state of affairs that far too many “conservatives” base their foreign policy preferences on an ahistorical — and frankly peculiar — interpretation of scripture.

It’s like an echo chamber in here. Lots of older gen x and boomers. About the only people who don’t seem to see that our association with that evil nation needs to end. Younger gen x on down seeing right through the bullshite.
It’s why NetanYahoo said he needs to seize control of social media, especially Tik Tok and X.

Palestinians don’t want peace. I hope Israel keeps killing them at a high rate.
When they want you dead, you have no recourse but to execute them first.

I’d like to clarify that I believe Israel — like any sovereign nation — has the right to secure the safety and security of their citizens as they see fit. Yet they have no right to expect the United State to perpetually subsidize their existence.
In the end, it endangers the security of both the United States and Israel. Ron Paul, per usual, was right: perpetual U.S. intervention in the region is inevitably followed with tremendous and unforeseen blowback…

If tweet fails to load, click here. “What’s happening in the Middle East, in particular with Gaza right now, we have some moral responsibility for both sides in a way because we provide help and funding for both Arab nations and Israel…
We have a moral responsibility, especially now today that the weapons being used to kill so many are American weapons and American funds are being used for this…
But there’s a political liability, which I think is something we fail to look at because too often there’s so much blowback from our intervention in areas that we shouldn’t be involved in….
As Americans, say, ‘Well, we have such a good system; we’re going to impose this on the world. We’re going to invade Iraq and teach people how to be democrats. We want free elections.’
So we encouraged the Palestinians to have a free election. They do, and they elect Hamas…
So we first, indirectly and directly through Israel, helped establish Hamas. Then we have an election where Hamas becomes dominant, then we have to kill them…
‘Well, yeah, it was better then and served its purpose, but we didn’t want Hamas to do this.’
You know Hamas, if you look at the history, you’ll find out that Hamas was encouraged and really started by Israel because they wanted Hamas to counteract Yasser Arafat…
During the 80s, we were allied with Osama bin Laden and we were contending with the Soviets. It was at that time our CIA thought it was good if we radicalize the Muslim world.
So we finance the Madrassas school to radicalize the Muslims in order to compete with the Soviets. It just doesn’t make sense. There is too much blowback…”

So the US gives money to Israel and Israel takes some of that money and uses it to promote Israel in the US.
