I don't think you can consider a guy that went to endure torture, scouraging, and death by crucifixion as a weak frail man. 100% of men would run from that but he didn't.

I can't relate. My church is very conservative with strong male leadership. I have heard about this in other churches though.

My experience also.

Aubrey Huff on the state of modern Christians and Pastors by Landmass
I left my church during COVID because they bent the knee to government and not to God.

I am still chapped about this. Our Parish isn't woke or anything like that, and it's a great community where my kids go to school. But I haven't got over them not providing Commumion to parishioners for months because the state told them not to. And then contonued with the mask BS for months on end after that.

Sounds pretty woke to me.

“Why they left” - Flavil R. Yeakley

Give it a read. And I’ll also add the Industrial Revolution at the start of the 20th century, where families began to be divided between homesteads and industrial cities, to make more money.

That's a descending list of wealth accumulated by denomination.

Not femininity.

Sure. But you need to be gathered with a body of believers in some fashion. That is if you’re taking the Bible and reading it. It tells you that.
Amen. The Bible knows nothing of this lone wolf Christianity. It speaks of meeting together, participating in the sacraments together, being part of the body of Christ as different members that build each other up, and submitting to elders who are under-shepherds of Christ who are charged with keeping watch over the flock.

Those who think they can be on their own are not in obedience to God, and will starve themselves from the lack of the means of grace.

Don’t pretend the left hasn’t used this against you. That’s how they infiltrated the church in the first place and how they keep you there listening to their dogma wrapped in Christianity.

Greatest man in history, had no servants,
yet they called him Master. Had no
degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had
no medicines, yet they called him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles, yet He
conquered the world. He committed no
crime, yet they crucified Him. He was
buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His
name is Jesus.

Satan has been attacking the Church from the beginning. We are called to obey God regardless of what the enemy seeks to do.

Agreed. Aubrey needs to find the right church. They are out there...fewer in number...but they still exist.

Church stopped respecting itself is a major issue. For goodness sake how many people were wearing shorts and t-shirts on Easter??

It's no different than going to the mall.

Really? You don’t believe in Jesus, I get that…but the Jesus of record was compassionate but righteously kicked butt when he needed to. You’re smart enough, perhaps I’m giving you too much credit, but you’re smart enough to know the Bible says Jesus did all sorts of manly things. He cleaned house with the money changers in the Temple, he stood strong and confronted the Jewish leaders, he took all sorts of punishment en route to Golgotha yet for the most part carried a wooden piece…whether it was a cross or the crossbeam sturdy enough to hold his body weight.

Believe what lies you want to believe but don’t mischaracterize who Jesus was and make yourself look like a bigger fool.

The part where he implied he didn’t need church was completely wrong.
