Great guy, but he's not yet in Trump's league as far as weathering that type of torment is concerned. That's like half the job these days, just weathering that constant barrage. Weathering the torment with one hand, being President with the other.

How did that end up working out?

Trump handled it well, election was stolen bottom line, he would still be president if we didn't have such a corrupt government.

He was so popular, they had to cheat to get him out. If I'm remembering my 2020 correctly.

Well you just took away any positives for Desantis for me. Trump 2024 all the way!

If you had any doubts who these guys are, this should pretty much settle it for you.

Desantis is being presented as the alternative to knock out Trump. Elections are four years away. Once Trump is out, they're going to turn on Desantis because they want to put another Bush or Romney in.

These are Nevertrump turds and no one who actually wants to fix things in this country should trust them. If you like perpetual war and total failure on the social front, these are your guys.

We need these voters to win. Trump has failed twice at appealing to them and he lost the last election and is no longer in the White House. Why the heck should we get behind him as the top option in 2024? He had his chance. He failed.

The question is; Will members of the Trump cult vote for DeSantis in the general election?

I have no doubt that I would fall into this category you speak of and absolutely I’ll vote for DeSantis. In fact he’s who I want the nominee to be.

fricking moron.

Really? I don't think my locale is set up to even do that, a write in. You go into a booth and push buttons.

There is a button for write in or other candidate on all the machines. I pressed it last year just to see what it would do, and it went to a screen with a line and a touchscreen keyboard popped up. I hit the back button and changed my vote to Trump because I wasn’t planning on voting for a write in candidate but I was curious.

Regardless, if Trump clearly and unambiguously were to endorse Desantis, I don't think there would be "a ton" of people who would do what you suggested.

I hope that you are right, but there are a lot of ppl that think Trump can do no wrong, I call them Orange Man Good voters. The democratic party has a built edge in Pa, Wisconsin, Michigan, and possibly even Georgia of being able to ballot harvest and turn out to vote with their buddies in the tech and celeb world that even a few thousand Orange Man Good voters writing in Trump’s name or staying home might allow Biden and/or Harris to squeak out a win.

Rd should pull all the trump votes in 2020 plus all the people who thought trump was too mean(bitches).

Agreed. Sadly I know a couple of “Republicans” who voted against Trump. One in particular I went round and round with about what a pussy he is. I asked him if he’ll vote for DeSantis if he’s the nominee and he said yes. He also said he will not vote for Trump if it’s him again. Anecdotal I know but a pathetic and true story.

The media already knows that DeSantis will be the nominee. As we get closer to 2024, look for a full court press on how horrible Florida is. It'll be bullshite, but they'll try.

As horrific as the radical left admin has been, my guess is every republican and independent will vote for anyone, anyone running against the radical left-anyone. I will also predict most moderate dems will simply not vote for whoever is the face of this radical left admin if they are still around in 2024. Although Trump might convince some of the mod dems to vote against him.

The only way the radical left can keep power is by cheating again or cancelling the elections.

oh they won't have to cheat again.

They will just make it all 'legal.'

or use 'prosecution discretion' to look for more white supremacists instead.

SIAP-

Trump needs to stay active and vocal to keep all the crosshairs on him and off Ron until the last minute, then throw all his support over to him. That's just my Rino opinion.

My vote is with Trump. Period. You can sit here and be the spineless conservative turd that runs away when things get difficult. No wonder the GOP is full of cucks. Just taking after their voters

There was a time where conservatives acknowledged that Trump was a right-leaning moderate populist, which he is. I voted for the guy twice and would vote for him if he was the nominee but let's not pretend that he's the most Conservative candidate out there

There is absolutely no reason to believe that DeSantis is less conservative than Trump
