I wouldn’t vote for Trump for largely the same reason as he was totally incompetent at being POTUS. Not that Biden is great but he’s not as bad as right wing media leads many to believe.

Are fricking retarded? Energy independent, lowest unemployment rate for minorities, peace in the Middle East, lower taxes, illegals not flooding across the border at even a fraction of the rate now. Yes, Biden is that bad you tool. He can’t even dress himself.

Why does everyone think he will get the rhinos voters ? He is by far the closest thing to Trump . Rhino voters want a democrat but are ashamed to admit it .

DeSantis doesn't alienate suburban voters, particularly suburban women, due to his conduct and rhetoric, both past and present.

No offense but suburban women voting has been the downfall of this country. Oh no! He’s so abrasive! Why is he so gruff! They need to vote the policies and not his personality. Proves women are evil…and quite possibly stupid.

Hahahaha very funny.

Oh, you're serious?

Ok, like what specific examples of rhetoric and conduct? Without googling it please. If you have to google it, that's immediate proof of overhype.

He seems too right-wing, moreso even than Trump. I don't expect him to have broad appeal outside of known Republican regions.

DeSantis is a more refined, controlled and intellectual Trump. Imo.

Great candidate. He has moved Florida more and more to the right.

It's not trolling. That's what I have observed with his actions. His conduct during this latest COVID surge is carrying these whole "individual liberties" to reckless extremes. Seriously look at what's going on in Florida

It's sad when a man who's in the middle and tries to look at both right and left arguments, and chooses not to veer radical right is maligned for "trolling."

Good question. There are a ton of ppl who would write in Trump’s name even if Trump endorsed DeSantis.

I have spent the last 9 months looking at the precincts of every state in 2016 and 2020. In both years there were over 5 million voters who voted for at least 1 down-ballot Republican but didn't vote for Trump. Nearly all of these voters are suburban Republicans and Republican-leaning Independents. They are not part of the Democratic coalition.

Democrats are basically maxed out with the votes they get. We, however, are not. Trump has underperformed down-ballot R's in the majority of the suburbs. What we should do is focus on who can bring these voters back in the fold. Trump can't, as he has failed to do so twice, so he should be a non-starter. However, I don't trust our base to recognize this blatantly obvious suburban problem he has.

Everything points to DeSantis being that guy to bring these voters back into the fold. You know who else knows this? The Democrats and their servants in the media. That's why the media is working overtime to tear down DeSantis. They know he'll win and they're terrified of him being the nominee. The Lincoln Project, CNN, and MSNBC have even stooped to egging Trump on to run again. They want him to run again because they know he can't appeal to these voters and can't win the WH, and they want him to take DeSantis out.

Trump had his turn and he fricked up. DeSantis is a far superior candidate and he also doesn't anger and mobilize the opposition to crawl over broken glass to vote him out.

Really? I don't think my locale is set up to even do that, a write in. You go into a booth and push buttons. Regardless, if Trump clearly and unambiguously were to endorse Desantis, I don't think there would be "a ton" of people who would do what you suggested. Now, if there were no endorsement, maybe yes, in that situation I could see some of that I suppose.

Yes, pedophile, and you and your legion of sky screaming, city burning "non-cultists" will melt beautifully. Next question.

There are 2 parts of that statement that are false.

"a man" and "in the middle"...you are neither.

And I hope you're right about us 80 million cultists, because otherwise you're going to have to spend another four years with your wine tasting lefty friends in your gated communities crying about all those mean tweets.

If you had any doubts who these guys are, this should pretty much settle it for you.

Desantis is being presented as the alternative to knock out Trump. Elections are four years away. Once Trump is out, they're going to turn on Desantis because they want to put another Bush or Romney in.

These are Nevertrump turds and no one who actually wants to fix things in this country should trust them. If you like perpetual war and total failure on the social front, these are your guys.
