they should sue him to get back the 20 billion needed to rebuild.
He probably still lives with his parents. His assets likely consist of an XBox, a Call of Duty game, a ten year old flatscreen tv, and a $5 Starbucks gift card.
$20 billion? His assets are worth $20.

So EIX did not cause the fire via some rogue decommissioned transmission line that was energized by accident?
That stock cratered 40% when those rumors came out.

Watch the media ignore this fact that he's a democrat, but they were all over the lie that a judge's house blew up from some MAGA person that somehow snuck into a gated hood and planted bombs lol

This thing has a rigorous skin care regimen and his beard is trimmed with tender care.
I’d bet a large sum that this creature is a tranny/drag queen in their free time, which is considerable.

Those aren't just rumors. There is some frickery involving those lines and the company. It is outlined in one of the civil suits that has been filed.

They arrested him 10 months later?
Dontcha know it takes time and good writers for Hollywood to script out scapegoat and patsy fairy tales?

Aside from him confessing or having one of his stoner buddies video him starting the fire how exactly do they prove it?
They can't. At all. This is just part of the game.
Fortunately the Mockingbird mainstream media and Twitter "influencers" parrot the new info into the sheeps' alleged brains until the implausible absurdity once again becomes "fact".

So it wasn’t CLIMATE CHANGE?
Yeah, it will still be climate change.
Either the guy will be revealed to be a conservative or a leftist.
If the former, it will be spun as though he's one of those white supremacists that we're supposed to believe is the biggest threat to the country, and it will be assumed that he denies climate change. Will there be a direct link? No, but that won't matter.
If the latter it will be a protest to force politicians to take climate change seriously.
But it will be part of the narrative either way.

Am I missing something here?
He started an 8 acre fire that was extinguished before any real property damage. He was not responsible for the other fires.
The way the news is sensationalizing this, they make it sound like he's responsible for all of the fires.
Again, maybe I missed something, but this is odd to me.
He's only facing 20 years for damaging property via arson. No murder charges or anything else.

Will the liberal let him use the "intent" defense? How they going to prove he intended for a whole neighborhood to be burned down. He just lit a leaf on fire and did not intend for it to spread.
His defense counsel can be Comey, Hillary, and James.

Wait a second. I thought climate change was what started the fires? I’m so confused now

Don't you get it? He's showing us what is coming ! Climate change can and WILL do this, eventually.
Maybe.
And if we don't act now, we'll be seeing this repeated over and over.
But for realsies!!
When they become tired of waiting for a 'climate catastrophe' to hype up and feed into the fear of the dumb-masses, they do it themselves.
For the greater good, of course.

The Palisades fire was a holdover fire from the early New Years Day fire. That fire occurred under normal conditions and was held to 8 acres and fully contained in three hours.
Hotspots remained and, evidently, weren't monitored all that closely. Less than a week later the weather changed and a high end Santa Ana wind event began. The previous fire still had embers smoldering, mostly in underground root systems. The winds with that event were 70mph+ with gusts over 90mph from the east/northeast. Those winds rekindled the original fire and set the adjacent brush on fire. That wind ramped up the fire and carried it directly into the neighborhoods that were less than a quarter mile away.
Holdover fires aren't unheard of, nor are they all that uncommon. The 2023 Lahaina, Maui fire was a holdover fire, as was the 1991 Oakland fire that killed 25 people.
