Air conditioning in private residences that are not Government projects is going to be intensely targeted by US FedGov in the coming years.

It's gonna be like playing Fortnite. Collect guns and ammo and hide in a bush while others collect materials. Kill those collectors, take their stuff then dance.

No. I go shopping every day and I know when something is coming up short and what the alternatives are. Shortages don't happen all of a sudden. They are gradual. You have plenty of time to make priorities and what to buy ahead of time.
IE, I've got 2 weeks of dog chew sticks left. The last time it ran out the resupply was 3 weeks later. So today I checked the store and they had only 1 big bag left. I bought it instead of waiting 2 weeks like I normally would. You can do this with most items if you pay attention when you're shopping.

I got tons of canned food and freezers full of meat. If push comes to shove I have 100 acres worth of Deer, Turkey and Rabbits I can shoot. Plus all the crops we could grow. Not really worried about it.

Months if not years behind on this. You better get on it. My biggest concern is being the only person to have food. That could lead to losing friends and possible extended family members.

Yeah, I much prefer keeping meat in the freezer than buying canned. The stuff in on my pantry shelf is mostly sauces like Asian sauces, spaghetti sauce, catsup, etc.

If you don't intend to share it with them don't let them know you have it.

Yeah - I have already thought about that. Many people know we have a large garden though.

No, it doesn't. It reacts poorly.

Unfortunately, I sincerely feel this is all by design. No one is stupid and unlucky enough to make the wrong decision at every critical juncture. Probability dictates that person would get something right sometimes.

This administration has been wrong on everything.

I’ve got a case of spam, two flats of Dinty Moore stew, a twenty pound bag of rice and lots of .22 LR for the squirrels and rabbits running around behind the house.

My step mom was really concerned with the year 2000 computer glitch thing. Bought half a garage full of bottled water.

My parents’ yard and gardens were the showpiece of the neighborhood the next couple of summers after that.

People will probably assume that we just grow too much food anyways and that it’ll all work itself out.

Check back with me in six months.
