Trump absolutely loves pandering to the blacks, e.g., giving pardons left and right to degenerate rappers while others who are legitimately in need of it are left to rot.

all for a demographic that not only will never vote for him, but would enthusiastically cheer upon hearing the news that he had been assassinated by intolerant, bigoted leftist lunatics. it's cuck behavior.

they don't care about the pardons. you see the obvious pandering and so do they. why should they care about a rapper when Trump has supported efforts to dilute their votes, hurt their job prospects, and hurt their admission to colleges? whether or not you think it's justified is another issue. they don't care about him pardoning some idiot rapper when he's doing that other stuff

quote:

all he's ever done is bank fraud, deal drugs and be a politician, and he has the gall to talk to young men about work ethic?

he wasn't calling them lazy. he was glorifying trades, something people on this website do all the time. if you want more young white men to go to college, then white men should stop telling their sons that college is useless and they should seek a trade. Byron is supporting a common narrative. he didn't create it.

Donalds is garbage. Can’t believe Florida couldn’t find a better DeSantis successor.

As soon as he got the Trump endorsement and AIPAC donor network lined up it was over.

He’s conservative but dumb as hell and completely owned by the donor class. We’re gonna be GA south.

This is true. Just like the DSA vs the Democratic Party, the Republican Party is having its own schism and it’s not noticed by most of the older Republicans.

As uncomfortable as it is to say, much of it is centered around Israel and their influence in our politics (which funny enough is similar to the DSA vs Democrats).

The typical Republican believes in free-market capitalism which frankly doesn’t exist and we’re seeing the effects of globalism, unfettered mass immigration and changing demographics. The far-right believes in a form of socialism that protects the native population and preserves its culture, while still encouraging capitalism.

At least that’s my very simple description of the two sides regarding their economic stances.

If only there was a name for this type of socialism

DeSantis didn't lose, he was term limited. If DeSantis was eligible and he was in a republican primary against Donalds, DeSantis would absolutely destroy Donalds.

It highlights why I hate term limits and think they are dumb.

there is an understated online war going on X and the podcast world that most people casually involved in politics are probably not aware of. Not that everybody is in a neat little camp, but it's Ben Shapiro, Joel Berry, Vivek, Donalds, Levin, Seth Dillon, James Lindsay, etc. vs. Dave Smith, Auron Macintyre, Tucker, Joel Webbon, Christian Heines, Fishback, etc.

And based on my x feed, fishback, Tucker etc are the moderate option. shite is getting wild and it’s accelerating.

Byron says "Brad" needs to make SIX FIGURES if he wants to afford living in Florida.

Except that's not what he said. He said it (a job in a trade skill) was not only a pathway to success, but a way "to afford the state into the future."

Basic English teaches that when you afford something into means to grant opportunities to or benefit something in a particular way. In other words, what he's saying is that trade skills benefit the state into the future.

If you're a younger man under age 35-40 with any ability to learn building trade skills you'll be set for retirement. The robots will not be taking the jobs of the HVAC technician, the electrician, the carpenter, the plumber, the mason, etc.

absolute, unadulterated bullshite propaganda talking points that you downloaded like a good little npc.

you intolerant bigots are steadily losing the black male vote. it'll never dissipate entirely because black men have let the government become head of their household and can't get off the plantation as a demographic, but they see right through your garbage. they realize they're on that plantation taking handouts for a vote and a destroyed nuclear family, and that doesn't sit well with any red blooded American male with an ounce of testosterone in his nuts and some self-respect.

That line of thinking makes zero sense. Do you really think the tech lords will stop at blue collar robotics just because ?

As if blue collar work hasn’t been heavily automated for hundreds of years…

Nope, I'm saying for dudes who are currently in their 20's and 30's looking to earn a decent living over the next 20-25 years .....the trade skill jobs will be the last to be replaced by SI, automation and robotics. I think a lot of logistic jobs, white collar jobs, medical professionals, teachers, and low level folks in the legal field are going to feel the full pinch of SI, automation and robotics long before those working in the trades.

They’re telling white boys to go into the trades because artificial intelligence won’t take it over knowing full well that most trades have already been taken over by guateficial intelligence

I think that’s wish casting. And even if those jobs are less affected, the overall economy would hurt earning potential if people can’t afford your services. White collar workers fuel real estate and the service economy.

There are vids on YouTube showing a large 3D concrete slurry printer onsite laying out and printing the outside and inside walls on new homes. There are still some trades people assisting in the construction of the home but the start to completion time is 30-40% less than a regular home that was framed the traditional way with wood and the cost is a bit cheaper using the 3D concrete slurry printer.

There are also some YouTube vids showing a completely automated process where the blueprints are loaded into a computer controlled bevy of machines that take all the lumber and other materials to build the home and the automated process essentially produces modular pieces for each aspect of the home and then they are loaded on flatbed trucks and assembled onsite. Once the home is completed you would never know the home was largely constructed in a huge warehouse type building using computer controlled machines and shipped to the building site.
