Ruble could be on the verge of collapse but would OPEC be holding it if true?

OPEC is only holding a small amount of rubles, if any.

Same with the yuan.

Holding either would be near insanity

The most feared force in the world is the US Navy. It controls the water. Therefore, it controls world trade!!

Which roughly translated into about 38% of US consumption. Russian economy continues to surge like crazy and by the end of 2025 should hover at 40-42% of the US one. Which gives us a very rough size of Russian economy being about 40% of the US one if one projects those figures directly at GDP number, which, in its turn, is an extremely rough approximation.

Russia and China have collapsed so many times according to our board foreign policy ‘experts’ that I’ve stopped counting.

So?

Are you scared of one Frigate, one oil tanker, a marine recovery unit and nuke boat…..US intel says, doesn’t have missiles?

Russian Navy units visit often.

US Navy shadows their every move plus unseen sub killers and birds watching every move.

Biden is seeking an extension to his kingdom and the real bad guy is causing the chicken littles to run in circles.

No nit, they built their power on the water but a land war sunk them.

You talking about the British / Zulu war which had the British ultimately decimating the Zulu and subjugating them and their territory? That one?

The Ruble made a yearly high last week against the dollar. The sanctions have failed. You were lied to. You don't care.

Admit that you don't care and that you WANT to be lied to.

Dumbass

Wait! I've been hearing from the PT for months now that the dollar was about to collapse and that the BRICS would have a currency to supplant it any day. Is that not the case?

As with the U.S. in every armed conflict since WWII, it's not a matter of capability. The Brits were far superior in military might. It's a matter (failure) of policy direction and the lack of guts to do whatever is necessary.

We're still exceptional at warfare. We just suck at occupations.

The Ruble made a yearly high last week against the dollar. The sanctions have failed.
Then why did the Russian government and the Central Bank of Russia order a halt to all trading of the U.S. dollar in Russia on June 13 (less that two weeks ago) in response to the latest round of sanctions on Russia?

quote:

New US sanctions against Russia have caused an immediate suspension of trading in dollars and euros on the country’s leading financial marketplace, the Moscow Exchange.

The exchange, also known as MOEX, and the Russian central bank rushed out statements Wednesday, a public holiday in Russia, within an hour of Washington announcing a new round of sanctions aimed at cutting the flow of money and goods to sustain Moscow’s war in Ukraine.

“Due to the introduction of restrictive measures by the United States against the Moscow Exchange Group, exchange trading and settlements of deliverable instruments in US dollars and euros are suspended,” the central bank said.

The move means banks, companies and investors will no longer be able to trade either currency via a central exchange, which offers advantages such as better liquidity and oversight.

Instead, they will have to trade over the counter, where deals are conducted directly between two parties. The central bank said it would use data from those trades to set official exchange rates.
CNN

And your statement that the ruble is at a yearly high vs. the dollar?

quote:

According to the Financial Times, Moex' resulting dollar restriction caused the greenback's rate to spike among local banks. Where the central exchange offered the US currency at under 90 rubles, some lenders have now sold it for 120-200 rubles.

The spread between buying and selling also ballooned, more than doubling from pre-sanction levels at Russia's main state lender, Sberbank.

Meanwhile, some lenders have stopped selling greenbacks altogether, and Russians were lining up at one lender that still offers the service, Bloomberg said, citing local media.

While over-the-counter transactions would remain available, that will still likely lead to higher costs for Russian consumers. Both importers and exporters involved in the Russian market can expect higher prices.
Business Insider

So no official dollar trading is allowed but the black market exchange rate is up to 200 rubles to buy $1?

Two years ago, June 2022, as sanctions were just starting to be felt in Russia after the Ukraine invasion, it only took 55 rubles to buy $1.

But, sure, go ahead and convince yourself the ruble is STRONG!!!

Because Russis is smart. NONE OF THE SANCTIONS WORKED.

All they have done is made the Ruble stronger and pushed more countries to side with Russia and BRICS. Keep supporting potato heads sanctions, dummy!

I’m saying the ruble has fallen from 55 to the dollar two years ago to up to 200 to the dollar now and yet you think the ruble hasn’t collapsed?

Have you ever tried to exchange rubles for dollars at a currency exchange in Moscow?

I have. Many times.

You are lying to yourself.

NPCRussian and the rest of the Zelensky bros have been predicting Russia’s collapse for over two years and it hasn’t happened yet. They’re all in on the Globohomo propaganda and will not be swayed.
