Exactly, look no further than what the left did to the UK

This is a case study in Overton Window manipulation.
AOC was once anchored the extreme so that Pelosi and other lunatics seemed moderate by comparison.
Now AOC is moderate by comparison.
This is why the Appeal to Middle fallacy is one of the most dangerous. The "middle" is artificially moved/skewed to position that was once occupied by the extreme.

That's a lot of white people

It's 1400 miles from NYC to New Orleans.
That's the same distance from Italy to Iraq.
The ideologies in this country are becoming too far apart to be connected by a common government. Whether it will snap or come back around is the question.
Unfortunately, those who want socialism may have to experience it firsthand to realize that they don't really want it. It's a cycle that's been repeated many times in history.
But hey, it will be different this time, right guys?
It can largely be boiled down to one thing. A culture that refuses the concept of personal responsibility and accountability.

The communist party is an insurgent group.
The democrats encouraged the socialists to crawl and now the communists are running and we’re all going to pay the price for it.
I’ve been warning people they’ve been soft majority socialist since Bernie v HRC and if the right doesn’t create a wealth pathway for the Gen Z men who are trying the Charlie Kirk path we will be socialist or in a civil war before the millennials retire.

Great point and it's a bit of a conundrum. It seems to me that their antics are actually expressions of a desire for security gifted from the government -the very government they seek to destroy. I read an opinion that this constant dissonance - inner conflict from what they believe vs. persistent cold reality is the core of leftist instability.

How can these white women and gays not have the little bit of sense to know that as soon as the Muslims gain control they’ll be in camps before republicans will be???? It’s astonishing just how stupid the left has become.

I guess the gay men and young single women don't realize that the Islamists will throw the gays off rooftops, after which they will rape the women. Useful idiots, indeed.

The modern playbook of the left demands perpetual revolution. The moment anyone attempts to define what the end-goal is for society, it ceases to be revolutionary and becomes an establishment that must be fought. Only by perpetual revolution with no goal in sight can society become enlightened. That’s why their bar for society is constantly shifting or you can’t tie them down to specific goals.
Nothing is ever enough. Destruction only begets destruction.
There's a word that sums it:
evil
adjective
uk /'i?.v?l/ us /'i?.v?l/
morally bad, cruel, or very unpleasant:

The only comforting thing is the people smiling and chanting in that crowd will get a rude awakening when either native born fatiguers or Middle East fatiguers are at some point attacking them.
The response from the folks in the crowd will be something like: "We are on your team!"

The left is angry and motivated like the right was in 2024. Not only will Dems win midterms, I fear socialism is about to gain a lot of steam in America. Many young adults jumped on the America First train and Trumps promises and have been let down as we still have inflation, high home prices, crippling student loan debt, poor job opportunities, and constant foreign wars and Israel dick sucking.
Traditional neocon policies and trickle down economics failed them.
MAGA populism and trade protectionism is failing them.
Socialism is all that’s left to try in their view. And it will fail them greatly. But it’s coming whether we like it or not.
All of these are failing due to problems not rooted in ideology but rather a failed corrupt system of govt that’s far from what the founders envisioned, decades of failed trade policy and endless costly wars, failed immigration policy, and a national degradation of our moral compass and Christian values in place of greed and consumerism and instant gratification.
Trump has the right ideas but our broken govt won’t allow him to implement him between congress and activist judges. But voters will blame it on Trump and gravitate to the next shiny object that won’t fix anything either. We aren’t voting our way out of this.

The only way AOC can be called a centrist is if she is in the middle of the bed with her legs over her head.
