Yes, I've already left the country and live in Texas.

I'm not going anywhere. I have too many anchors. Plus, I'm old.

Honestly? Mexico. I went to San Miguel de Allende last year and half the town was made up of U.S., Canadian and European expats. It was beautiful. I came back calling it the happiest place on earth. Everyone there was happy. My friends have beautiful huge upscale home they paid $300K for. Great restaurants, weather... Locals embrace and interact with transplants well. Lots of rich people from Mexico City with second homes there.
Before that trip, I never even would have considered Mexico as a retirement location... now, it's on my radar. But I think the only two places in Mexico I would consider would be San Miguel or Cabo. Other than that I would move to Italy, without question.

Yeah I'd consider leaving for a lot of places if the circumstances were right.
Austria, CZ, Netherlands, Hungary - Wife and I would probably seriously consider uprooting the family for stints in those countries depending on work circumstances. Now abandoning the US forever is less likely, but who knows. I have less issues availing myself of an existing progressive/socialistic culture than I do watching my own country decline into one.

You can't have a free country without rule of law. Some people don't play well with others, so we have to keep them in cages for the safety and security of civil society at large.

The U.S. has lots of people moving out. They move out of Calif to Texas. They move out of NY to Florida. I moved from Shreveport to Bossier 25 years ago specifically because I saw the political situation turning it into Jackson, Miss.

I'm on board with this but who do we fight and when and where? It's almost like we are fighting an invisible enemy. The deep state is responsible for most of what ails us but how can one put a face on it when it made up of a bunch of unelected bureaucrats who seem th operate with impunity regardless of who is in control of the executive and legislative branches.
You have to get involved locally, first. School boards, city councils, county government. Then look state wide and nation wide. If you know people that are involved in politics that agree with yours, interact with them. Join or form groups that forward your view points. Find people who you think would make good local reps on boards, and at the local government level, and judges and help get them elected.
The US electorate is either apathetic or overburdened with daily life. People of the right are busy working and earning a living and raising their children, while the childless or semi-jobless left have the time and resources to devote to ruining our country. We have allowed the left to dominate the conversation, and that's why they have infected our education system and many, many levels of government, all the way to DC. It is time to start taking back.
One of the best things you can do for your children, and your children's children, and your country, is to get involved and fight back.

The last 2 years I have spent a lot of time in Japan, because of work. Mainly around Osaka. I love it. I have been learning Japanese online, it's tough, but I think some of it is beginning to click. The last time I went I was able to bring my wife(no pics), she also immediately fell in love with the place. I'm not saying we are going to retire there, but its definitely on the table.

It doesn't matter which country you run to; if America can be brought to its knees you can't run far enough to escape the clutches of the global elite.

No. I raised them to be self sufficient, the understand the assignment and have made careers that do not handcuff them to any one place or country.
