Well yeah they were all authoritarians using partisan-polarity to increase emotional states and create dehumanized out-groups so that violence emerged. Then they both blamed the other for the political violence and it became actual violence until one authoritarian sect came out on top.

This is a particularly popular one among players of that game, which is the most played game currently. The game features heavily fascist/anti fascist imagery and language, so, it’s what he was most likely referencing.
FWIW, that code drops in a 500kg bomb, so, the preceding message “Hey fascist! Catch!” only reinforces that likelihood. The game sometimes refers to you, the player, as a fascist.
