That dam is not secured in bedrock. IMO just a matter of time and the convergence of the wrong conditions - mainly perfect storm with lots and lots of rain upstream.
Then a natural disaster of epic proportions. Suddenly all those nuclear reactors downstream from that dam are in danger.
We dodged the bullet on Chernobyl and Fukushima. I dunno about this one.

Since you brought it up, the Ms river is currently headed up with no certain fall in sight. The very wet Spring the midwest is having plus melting snow up North could be happening at the very worse time.
