A chiropractor is more of a real doctor than that slick little goat fricker.

He might have a doctorate of medicine diploma which technically makes him a doctor. However, he is not a true doctor if he has never had his peaceful night shift nap interrupted by a code blue.

I truly hate to say it, but he is a doctor. He graduated and received his MD.

He is not a licensed physician. He is not a practicing physician. But he received an MD so he is a doctor.

It's like the old joke in medical school. What do you call the person who finished last in the class?

Doctor.

It doesn't change anything about him. He is still a intensely unlikeable person.

If he graduated Med school he is a titled Dr. But if he did not pursue residency he is not licensed to practice.

I can tell you that from the path my son has taken through med school.

This is nonsense.

He’s been Dr. Jill Biden’s partner for many years.

But isn’t this like me graduating from law school, never passing the bar or working in a law office, and instead teaching LSAT courses and working for the Department of Public Works, all the while calling myself a lawyer?

He's absolutely a doctor.

This has to be the dumbest way of attacking this dude.

What do like best about this never-practicing medicine man?

He cannot treat a patient merely with his title. If I walked up to him and said "Treat me", he can't. It says so in your link.

He is a DINO.

Well, being a doctor by itself has never conferred those responsibilities. You can possibly take issue if he was giving medical advice or something, but the fact of the matter is that the MD degree is a doctorate, and by definition, this guy is a doctor. He's earned that title.

don't they call that a Juris Doctorate, with class requirement like a master's degree in real degrees

There are lots of doctors who never practice clinical medicine, like physician-scientists.

She doesn't have an MD though. My statement applies only to MD's and DO's.

Then, let's see him go to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and apply for privledges to be on staff.....

He may be an academic doctor, but he hasn't earned his stripes, and he is not a true medical doctor.

I mean, he's just a non-practicing physician. Again, this is the stupidest line of criticism.

Sorry as a practicing physician, I am unimpressed. Getting through medical school is no joke, but it is just school. Going through residency is where becoming an actual doctor happens. So yes, he is a doctor by definition only.
