He’s a doctor like Dr. J was a doctor. Like Doc Severinson was a doctor. Like Doctor Hook was a doctor.

That sounds a lot like trans people...they went through the trans surgery so now they are the opposite sex. It's misleading for him to call himself a doctor just like it was for dr jill biden.

How will you know someone whose wealth is concentrated in a closely held entity is worth $100MM without a valuation?

Great way to destroy the markets and decimate every middle class American’s 401k. Brilliant tax analysis.

Congress writes tax law governing what gets taxed, deducted, recognized and transferred every damn year.

What is the relevance of this to rich people taking loans? Be specific.

No, bubba. In 2026 the federal estate-tax exclusion is $15 million per individual. The 40 percent figure is the top estate-tax rate, not a tax slapped on “anything includible” in an estate

I’m very aware of the taxation of estates. The lifetime exemption is not includible in the estate. Everything includible in the estate is indeed taxed at 40 percent. You aren’t the brightest bubba. That is estate planning 101. Which is why I specifically mentioned the lifetime exemption in my initial response to your ignorant nonsense.

Your turn.

Should someone earning $10 million annually pay the same preferential rate on long-term capital gains available under current law, or a higher one?

Should appreciated assets still receive stepped up basis at death?

What should the estate tax exemption be?

You already agreed carried interest is at least fair game, so apparently my “complete ignorance” accidentally stumbled into a policy position you share.

Put your own numbers and policies on the table.

Because standing there demanding that somebody else design the entire Internal Revenue Code while you contribute “wrong,” “ignorant,” and your shiny new vocabulary word isn’t intellectual rigor.

Bubba, I hate to tell you..

it’s becoming trite.

Same.

Only assets includible in the estate for estate tax purposes receive a step up. And yes. They should.

Same as it was in 2010.
Run to Google!

It means you knew to parrot the “loophole’s” name. I am quite confident, like all of the other nonsense you posted, you had no idea what it meant.

As is”bubba”. Look up trite and you will know why. I didn’t ask you to design a thing you ignorant twat. And asked you to explain the practicality of your insane “policy proposals.”

How often are you digging around the tax code? How well do you think you understand it? Only reason I ask is your claim that asking you to discuss further than surface-level various insane proposals was me asking you to design the entire code is quite hyperbolic.

I’ll ask once again…how would the government know if someone is worth $100 million if their wealth is concentrated in a closely held entity without a valuation? That proposal alone shows you don’t know what you’re talking about. C

This is not complicated. He is a doctor not license to practice anywhere in the United States.

Reminds me of a Sanford and Son episode where Old Man Sanford (Fred) was trying to get LaMont a diagnosis of whiplash so he could cash in on some insurance. He got this shady guy in there who would not stop smoking.

Text -

Doctor - "Do you have neck pain?"
LaMont - "A tiny bit"
Doictor - "You have whiplash".

After a moment LaMont, feeling this whole deal suspicious asked;

Lamont - "Cmon tell me honestly, are you really a doctor"?
Doctor - "In some states",

Good. Now we’re finally getting somewhere. You support a lower estate tax exemption, you’re open to changing carried interest, and you want current capital gains treatment preserved. So this was never about whether wealthy people should ever pay more. It was about where and how. That’s a policy disagreement, Bubba. Took a whole lot of ‘ignorant,’ ‘twat,’ and your shiny new word ‘trite’ to finally get you to admit it.

This would not be the first question I would ask in this situation, because what we first need to ascertain if they have the ability to synthesize the virus itself.

Why? The (purposeful) leak could have been a sample taken from nature or from another lab.

I was just curious how anything at the molecular level could indicate (or not) a leak.

I think it's likely that the lab was where it all began, but I don't think the leak was on purpose. I have no idea what the genesis of the virus itself was.

Wrong. You posted 4 insane policy proposals and 1 possibly ok one that you likely didn’t understand.

You still haven’t answered my very simple question about how the IRS will know someone is worth $100MM if their wealth is concentrated in a closely held entity without a valuation.

That alone is a staggering indicator of your ignorance on how the code works. You’re in over your head here, bubba. Better to pick another topic. You won’t win this one.

and your shiny new word ‘trite

may be new to you, but I’ve been using here for over a decade. Just like “posting with hubris from a place of ignorance.” When some new poster comes along thinking they are special and posts the same tired stuff that I’ve swatted down for years…I use words that correctly describe it. Let me know if any of the other words I use confuse you.

Now…I’ve asked the valuation question half a dozen times. Care to take a shot?

You trite, ignorant, moron, full of hubris. (Here’s a new one). Youre a caricature….Bubba.

I tried to answer that, and my conclusion, from the data on hand, is that it is unlikely to be a leak. Like I said, it could be from improper handling of samples, but that is also much less malicious.

You lost me.

Wouldn't improper handling of samples be a leak?

In any case, like I posted earlier - I don't think it was malicious but the beginning of the Covid shitshow was likely a leak from the Wuhan lab.

It would depend on lots of factors, from where the original specimens were collected to who was doing the collecting. Such an origin would negate the 'intentional' lab leak idea.

Hilarious to see goat fker defenders here. He is not a real doctor, he doesn’t operate on people’s health and doesn’t prescribe medicine. He is a fraud. He emphasizes himself being a doctor so he can score cheap political points.
