At this point, if you do not understand why they were 'investigating' Hillary you're just being willfully ignorant. The FBI/Comey & Co. were investigating with the intent of clearing Hillary. The bad news was already out there and hurting her. They wanted to get it out there in a very public way that she messed up but did it without intent so it's ok. Kind of a very public absolution of her sins.
Trump's investigation was them digging and actively trying to manufacture something to declare him unfit to be president. Do you really think they'd want to publicly acknowledge that and have reporters digging into the situation? Especially with the shady arse stuff we are now learning that they did? What if Glenn Greenwald or some other reporter was able to dig this info up before the election? Use a little common sense.

Not true. Many of the polls leading up to the election were within the margin of error, certainly in the swing states.

The allegations being made are contingent on the fact the the FBI didn't have the evidence to start a counterintelligence investigation and that they planted information to justify it.
So why didn't the FBI or Obama disclose the ongoing investigation in they were so hellbent on hurting Trump?????
