A Fatal Flaw in the claim that the ("Obama") FBI was working against Trump being elected

The Obama administration did not disclose the fact that the Trump campaign was under investigation. In fact, the FBI floated a misleading story in the New York Times in October 2016 conveying the false impression that there was no investigation of the Trump campaign.
The farthest Obama went was to ask leaders of both parties to join in a bipartisan statement warning Russia not to interfere with the election — and when Mitch McConnell refused, they did nothing.
When voting took place in November 2016, as far as the public was concerned, Clinton had been under FBI investigation and Trump had not.

The Clinton investigation was a criminal investigation. It was not classified

Because they were dead nuts certain Hilary would win, this was supposed to be used after her victory to destroy him for bucking the system.
