One year since President Trump's inauguration, a majority of Republicans under age 45 would want an alternative in 2020, according to the latest Axios/SurveyMonkey poll. A huge majority of Republicans less than 25 years old want the president to face a primary challenge.

Wording of poll is weird: wanting DJT to face primary challenge doesn't mean you WANT him to lose a primary

Still, interesting

They must have forgotten how awful the people running in the primary were last time.

This board will never admit it but Trump is in huge trouble going forward. His personality and antics have become a bigger deal to the public than his policies.

bullshite. There is absolutely no way this isn't a fake poll. The only people who want TRUMP to get primaried are Boomercucks and Democrats.

Considering that over 70% of Republican primary voters are over the age of 45, even if he gets primaried, it won't matter.

His approval is rising across the board. The economy is booming and now he just got his political opposition to shut down the government over illegal aliens.

I’d say he’s in a very nice position 1 year into his presidency

Unless something major happens in the next couple of years no candidate worth voting for (Cruz, Rand, etc.) is gonna take a chance on a primary challenge versus Trump. Lose that and it's over for you as far as Presidential aspirations. They're more likely to bide their time until 2024.

You'll end up with Kasich or some shite like that who would get walloped.

Right.

Hillary has a 98% chance of winning.

I know she does.

Polls told me so.

I do not think Trump will have any problem winning the Republican Party nomination in 2020 whether he is challenged or not. His problem is going to be defeating a Democratic nominee that is NOT HRC in 2020.

Oh wow. Another poll. How are the pollsters who showed Hillary winning by 10 points or more showing this info? You know.. those are the polls that may as well be gospel.

Somebody needs to help me out here. I can't remember if anyone took a poll after Obama's 1st year in office: 'Do democrats want Obama primaried?'
If not, why wasn't such a poll taken?
