It doesn't, because of the US's ability to generate any product, foreign countries need more from us than we need from them.
We don't need plastic crap from China, we don't need more tvs from Korea, etc.
Purchasing power in the US on staples like food and housing has definitely gone down since Globalization began in the late '70's.

If you put the thumb sized, lizard looking aborted fetus on a table and it started coughing and breathing on its own then it is human life.....otherwise it is just high protein tofu and nothing special.
With the recent advances in stem cell and cloning technology it will soon be possible to create human life from ordinary human cells. Does this make me a murderer for getting that mole removed from my back?
:yack:

I will agree with you that Globalization has resulted in overall job loss and tremendously reduced wages for the US workers since the '70's.
Also, our buying power for staples like food and housing has been reduced.....but electronics are cheaper and cars are both better and cheaper.
These new tariffs don't really address China now, do they?

let me just throw this number out there. since the 17 people were killed in Florida 2 weeks ago, 30 thousand kids were killed via abortion.
if we were really serious about saving lives, i think that would be a better place to start.
Come on man, people were having fun with this subject and you have to go and interpose your stupid, fricking religious beliefs into the conversation.

It used to be easier.
Why, I remember when a farmer could buy dynamite from his feed store just to clear out an old stump.

The way I understand it, you can't really "bear" a cannon or a howitzer.
Not on your shoulder but you could bear your cannon towed behind your jeep.

ok then, just curious.....I thought that it was illegal to do so.
I have made pipe bombs and other cool explosives many years ago and set them off in empty fields but I sure never let anyone see me.

Why didn't our founding fathers include the right to bear arms and artillery in the 2nd Amendment? Was it just an oversight by leaving out artillery?
What makes you think artillery is not included in the 2nd amendment?
Because arms and artillery are two specifically different things.
