It’s still the whole crews responsibility. The reason why the crew chief is back there is to look forward out the side, sideways, and the tail in landings. They all fricked up biggly along with ATC ignoring the collision warning.

This isn’t the first collision ever. When I was in another h1 unit had a cobra and c130 collide. I’ve also known a few others where aircraft have collided. It’s just really unfortunate there was 60 ppl and it hit a civilian aircraft.

I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm mocking their stance. I don't really see an indication that she was a DEI hire. The only "evidence" to point to that (according to this board) is that she was a woman so there's no way she could've been the most qualified

I'm pro-Trump and anti-DEI, but why assume we know things that we don't?
We know a male acknowledged traffic in sight and requested visual separation.
As to who was at the controls at the time of the crash, we assume it was she because of the nature of the flight, but we don't know that for sure.

I haven’t.
I do question if more qualified applicants were passed over for her (via DEI / political connections, or both).
I mean, not allowing for that plausible scenario says quite a lot about your inability to apply logic.
