Holy smokes. My long bond ETF's are getting their cheeks clapped from a price standpoint. This might be the end gents, time to start eating ghetto spaghetti and Vienna sausages. I'm a mid brokie, time to start applying for Subway and serving up meatball subs.

I’m surprised it’s not higher and that it’s taken this long. Given the way the currency is being debased, any lender should require a really high interest rate to make a loan at this duration. It’s why fixed rate 30 year mortgages ain’t coming down.

Yeah, many of us are getting killed. Funny, the economy is doing great... and we really aren't impacted (greatly) by the Iran war.

Sometimes, there is just a disconnect. Or it's a big club, and we aren't in it... lol.

Hang in there, it will bounce back.

AI bubble. The good news is it doesn't really matter. We'll all be hooked up to Matrix style machines in 5 years.

Yeah the 6% yield helps me cover the monthly margin rate of 4.5% annum, but the price is scary to look at. Still 70% cushion above my margin call on Long treasuries but damn, it's scary to look at that price action.

It's not higher because people are whistling as they pass the graveyard (except that this graveyard is full of debt-zombies clawing at the fence). There is a lot of wish-casting out there trying to will some anti-math into existence (UBI, MMT, whatever) so the party can keep rolling on.

Pay it now or pay it later, but the debt bill always gets paid somehow.

Yep. There's reportedly 24-26 Trillion in circulation worldwide, and we print 2 Trillion per year.

Real inflation is around 8%.

Trump is going to eclipse Biden on this soon. I can't wait to hear the excuses.

The US can’t afford for it to go higher or we will enter the death cycle of higher yields increasing debt which leads to even higher yields
