Now have the fed govt report how many drowned prior to Texas taking over that park. Also have them report how many illegals have been found dead after crossing the river.

Is this the fault of the state? The dems would like you to think so, but why is the state compelled to secure the border?
Is this the fault of the dems in federal government? They have created a culture of caravans and reckless "asylum" claims that have turned the border into a tidal wave of drug and child trafficking, and overwhelming border jumping.

I wouldn't doubt it's a bullshite story, creating a narrative and trying to discredit Texas. Or, if true... hopefully it will serve to make others think twice before crossing.
A line must be drawn, if someone crossing gets in a bind, that isn't America's problem. Stop em from crossing, let em back up in Mexico and be Mexico's problem.

That is the calculation that needs to be made.
Open borders have a deadly effect on American citizens.
The correct comparison is Americans saved less Illegals dead.
As long as the citizens is a positive number then the illegal losses are acceptable.

I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often. Maybe they should stop coming and this wouldn’t happen.
