Sounds like Mayorkas and DHS are pushing a fake news story to smear Texas and Gov. Abbott.

The cruel and inhumane policies are coming from the federal government allowing and promoting mass illegal immigration.

Uh, no. Assuming it's true (I don't) it's very sad and I hate that it happened but I wouldn't change a thing policy-wise.

They would not have drowned had they not tried to illegally enter our country.

Our government/media wouldn’t fabricate something like this, for say, some narrative of theirs?

Nah, they lie to us all the time but this time they are telling us the truth.

Enticing these people has left blood on the hands of the Biden Administration… How many rapes and deaths are now on their hands?

So, if border patrol couldn't get near the river, how would they know somebody was drowning?

If an American citizen put their child in danger in a body of water that resulted in that child drowning, they could be charged with manslaughter. When an illegal does it liberals blame the state.

It’s sad that happened but maybe they shouldn’t have tried illegally entering a country by swimming a river

The word needs to spread that crossing the border is very high risk.

Apparently the reward is worth the risk.

Taxpayer funded healthcare, taxpayer funded housing, taxpayer funded SNAP card. They'll be fed, sheltered and doctored at absolutely no cost to themselves, in exchange for indebtedness to the cartels.

Poster above said that word needs to get out that crossing the border is dangerous. I say word needs to get put that crossing the border is futile, because you will die trying or you'll be turned back.

As long as they can still get in, they'll keep coming.

They (BCP) don't have boats? State of Texas has control of the entire US-Mexico border?

You know...this wouldn't have happened if they had those river barriers there.

People need to be convinced that there is a credible threat of death in undertaking the journey.
