Paxton was a POS. There was always a chance he could lose. But Governor **** losing to that dumb count is the bigger shocker.

French Hill fixing to lose his seat in Arkansas and Steve Womack hanging on by a thread.
The out of staters slowly taking over Arkansas as well.

This is a lazy, reductionist take.
He’s right, they’re all on the same team. If you’re afraid of democrats running the country, surprise, they already are. Because they’re the same as republicans. It’s all fake and elections are nothing but theater.
Why else would midterms ALWAYS go this way? It’s set up, has been for the past hundred years. Both parties get just enough power so that nothing ever gets done and we’ll be right back here in two years watching the same horse race again.

It's not over yet, but just about nobody would have done worse than Paxton.
Maybe this Graham bitch. But Paxton wis a sublimely terrible candidate.

If he made Cuba his target instead of Iran, we’d see a R Supermajority tonight

The only silver lining in all of this is that the GOP will finally realize that they’ll have to move on from MAGA and Trump if they want to stay relevant.
Trump lost my support when allegations came out that people in his administration illegally used insider trading information during the Iran War to enrich themselves from selling oil stocks right before he announced ceasefires.
And then there’s the bullshite of Qatar and UAE royals buying out Trump via investing $2 billion into Kushner’s private equity firm. And don’t forget Barron’s net worth exploding to $150 million in one year.
Trump and his inner circle of family/business contacts are nothing but a bunch of hedonistic sleazeballs with no morals. They’re a fricking disgrace to the conservative movement and the GOP will be better off when they’re all gone.

Americans feel like they have no choice. Wages have been flat for the last three decades and inflation has gone crazy. This is the start of the socialist cycle. Not sure how to stop it. It’s never worked but it’s what will happen.
I wish you were wrong, but I feel you are probably right.

All we can hope is AI and Robotics start a huge deflationary cycle and maybe we can pull out of it.
I sure hope this isn't the only solution as I suspect the AI craze is the next financial bubble to burst. All these companies can't win the race and be "first" at the same time. And it it remains to be seen how much of a true benefit these systems really offer in the long term.

Best possible outcome tonight for team normal with MAGA officially done. Looking like we will get a reasonable race in 2028 and won’t have to choose between MAGA loons or DSA loons

People need stop with the bad candidate talking point
We are losing Texas because the electorate is not the same as what it was 20 years ago. Abbott is losing too
It’s a Democrat state now. But all “muh”
Jobs and tech stuff! Cool… now your state is blue. Same thing happened to GA

You fricking retard. Talarico is winning counties that Trump won by 20 points two years ago.
